That's sucks dude. They probably won't take me either. I'm a fatass... a recruiter told me to lose some weight before I could join.

What in the world do you do? An able bodied man should be able to find work somewhere in the US, unless you do customer service calls for Dell!

I was being sarcastic, ive been going to interviews, applying all over and nothing.

Its mostly my own fault, ive burned some bridges in the past and its all caught up with me.

Hey, I read a couple years ago they were shooting a sequel to that movie. Whatever happened to that?

Yeah, so I'm going to put my two weeks in this afternoon. I just got a job offer to be a prison officer. It's a good job and the pay is way more than what I make now and has great benefits. It's funny, I applied for this job last April and they just now call me to see if I want to take it. Talk about perfect timing. I knew everything would work out good for me.

Ah the inner workings of government jobs. It takes forever to get a job offer from any government agency. Thats a tough job you are taking. Takes a strong willed and just strong person to deal with the scum of the earth.

Yeah, it's going to be tough at time no doubt. But with the proper trianing I'll get, I should be ok. Plus for like the first year I get the easy shift wich is like from 11 pm to 8am.

Congrats, 12th man!! It always seems to work out in the end! We don't always understand it, but thank God it does!

And, yes, government and big corporate jobs almost always take time to get. They always have a bunch of red tape to go through! But, some can be well worth the wait!

Congrats man! My pops has been a Deputy sheriff at Jefferson County, CO for 18 years. He's worked in the jail all 18 of them. He'll be retiring next year. He's had some interesting stories over the years. Remember, when it comes to the inmates, what you hear goes in one ear and out the other. It's kind of like all the trolls that come around here trying to get everyone riled up except you get to see the trolls face to face!

Why not start your own business. And then you can feel the real pain. Employee's are much ****tier to their Bosses than bosses are to employees.
