Will you consider the winner of the LSU/OSU game the best in the nation?
No flaming who got hosed etc. just a simple yes or no. My proposed random draw to select the 2 teams to play for it all in NOLA still looks good to me. ![]() I will have to figure out a way how to get a split MNC this season in the next month or so. |

Absolutely not. But, the decision to have these teams in there isnt the teams fault. The system is flawed. But i dont feel either team should be in the big game. JMO

hmm I didn't see the poll out there that says 98% dont feel either should be there. Hell Ohio St and LSU fans probably make up more than 2%

Both teams won their conference. That should be the #1 criteria for playing for the national championship. I'll have no problem accepting either LSU or Ohio State as the National Champs...

I think it is great that it is ambiguous and we can argue about it till next season begins.

Till all conferences have a championship game I think its a poor point to argue that. No team should get into it watching other teams lose for two weeks.

I kinda agree, although I don´t think a Championship Game solves everything. I like it that all teams play each other once in the Pac 10 and that you can´t luck out with your conference schedule like Kansas did this season.

Exactly and as a college football fan, that is one reason I don't want a playoff. The debate keeps people interested. How many people even give college basketball a thought between March/April and December?

I don't think football is like baseball, where the "hottest" team at the time gets rewarded. Look what happend to the Rockies, were they the second best team in MLB? No, they just got hot at the right time and cooled off at the wrong time, the Red Sox were pretty constant all year.

No. I will say this will be the first time, and probably the last, that I will be rooting for the Buckeyes.

I don't like the idea of a 2 loss champion either, it cheapens the concept of a national title....I mean its just absurd to have a 2 loss champion, period. But I can't bring myself to root for Ohio State on personal grounds, I will hold my nose and root for LSU.

We'd step on your dick and punch you in the teeth. There is a reason we finshed ahead of you in the BCS. I'll listen to the SEC talk, but not from sissy teams that lose to WAC schools in bowl game it shouldn't be in.

IMO, on any given Saturday, any of the teams in the top 15 could beat any of the other teams in the top 15. Until we have a playoff, we'll never know.
