Most of the commentary on C&L is from Kucinich kooks making asses of themselves with their ignorance of Ron Paul's views.

Thanks for pointing me to what passes for political knowledge on the far-left these days, Spider.

you are welcome ....... but I think Kucinich and Paul would be a damn funny term ... 1 aid with a sense of humor , like putting the keys to the oval office up on a high shelf would be hours of entertainment

That would be great!!!!! Then Hilliary can pick Bill. GWB senior and run agian since he only did one term and pick Jeb as his running mate. Then Maybe Ross Perot can be McCains running mate. Obama picks Al Sharpton and LETS GET IT ON!!!!!!!!

To paraphrase from the article:

How come when Repubs make bad jokes then W*gs laughs and says “what clever men, such wit”.
But when Dems make jokes it's all “they hate America those libs….. “

This ticket would never happen. Ron Paul would rather continue his work in the House than work for a socialist like Kucinich.

Dennis is sly. He sees Ron Paul's campaign on an upswing like his candidacy never did, and he figured he'd try and make a pass at it. The problem with Dennis is that he doesn't have a clear message that Americans will buy into. That's because he is a socialist - and I use that term not pejoratively, but philisophically. Americans are in favor of socialism when you kind of plod it along in stages and steps and make them think of it as anything other than socialism. Help for the poor - help for the children - help for the latest victims... Tax and help.

Tax and help isn't a message that goes over well with Americans.

I've never said anyone hates America. I also refuse to let left-wingers abscond with the word "liberal", since they are very illiberal.

I'm sorry Taco, but as much as I like Paul...his refusal to run as a third party canadate (Libertarian) if he fails to get the GOP nod (which is likely) makes the whole thing futile. He's been virtually ignored in the debate thus far...not one question after a half an hour

I refer to left-wingers as "left-wingers". Only in America does the left feel the need to hide behind "liberal"; in Europe and elsewhere, lefties aren't ashamed.

"Progressive" is a euphemism the far-left uses.

Why can't you guys be honest, and let the libertarians have "liberal" back?

Wow.

I realize a lot of people on this board don't know the difference between liberalism and socialism, but I didn't figure you for one of them.
