Default That Was Fun!

...But I wanted 41 points...when was the last time we had over 40? But...I'll take it! GO BRONCOS!
It feels good! On the post game interviews...sound like Shanahan has almost forgiven Martinez for the punt...since he had the 80 yarder...
They had 4 plays over 40 yards...a record in a Bronco game!

Very impressed by this team the last two weeks. Look, its not our fault their receivers didnt make plays. Its not our fault they turned it over 3 times. We did what was necessary to win and ill take this any day of the week. Congrats to a hard fought game.

Shanahan pointed out that there were quite a few players that haven't had much football time out there. He sounded happy about how they were playing.

What really made me feel good is to see that the big play is back. That's what has been killing me. I will reiterate once again for those few stragglers who still want to argue about it, Brandon Marshall will be a star in this league. And I mean on the order of TO and Moss. Every game he plays he comes up bigger and bigger. I think Mike has been waiting to see the O bust out like this. We still need a couple of pieces, but we're on the threshold.

On one of the pregame shows yesterday...Cowher listed Jay as one of the few good QB's in the league...Cowher is usually a pretty good judge...and he had good things to say about Jay being the real deal.

Walker would be nice...but maybe that was a blessing in disguise?

That was a fun game.

4 TDs of 40+ yards.

It will be great if he can come back 100%. He and Brandon will be fighting for balls. And Jay gets better with every outing. He's still a rookie, AFAIC, but he's obviously way beyond that ranking. Really, the Broncos are not too far off. I would like to see some more beef on the line. I hate it when we can't just blow into the EZ from the five and have to call Elam in. But it's really shaping up.

It was a good win over a tough conference team. I'll still be smiling about it all through Thanksgiving.

If Denver wins next week Cutler will be 8/8 as a rookie. Not a bad start.

4 TD's over 40 yards when up to this point the longest TD by Selvin was just over 20...that's pretty impressive!

My wife was laughing after she finally sat down to watch the last 5 minutes of the game. She was laughing when ESPN posted the AFC West Standings. I have to admit...never would I have thought we'd be tied for the lead after 10 games with a 5-5 records.

Jim Mora said on NFLN that the Broncos stock is rising quickly whereas the Chargers is falling apart at the seams. I like our spot and the fact that we are a younger team than the Chuggs.

NEXT VICTIM: CHICAGO
