Default TENN, ESPN, vs denver broncos.....

tennesee we are stuck with espn again. how sad is that?

i for one will have it muted!!. how long until nfl network gets these games? i cant wait!

i watched al michaels tonight and have to say i wish they would take pointers from him. i for one will have the mute button on real high tommorow. i am sure they will make it a vince young crock of #$@!!! announcement. i can already see his life story coming into this game. and to think we could actually tie for the lead if we win and i cant even listen to the game

I do. Why listen to something that bugs you? The game calling is nothing special, Korn's jokes and comments are painful...you can easily get along without the audio and I find that it makes for a better game viewing experience. Unless, of course, you actually like the 3rd quarter celeb interviews.

At least some guys can listen to Dave Logan tomorrow if they're in Denver. There's a time delay on the internet from KOA otherwise that's what I'd do.

I understand you guys not like listening to the announcers..cuz I dislike a lot of them..I watch everygame each week and they get real annoying but I still would never turn the sound off..I like to hear the crowd and I dont like a dull silence around me

Silence for a game would be silly.

Given the quality of the announcers, silence is much more compelling than any bullshat bluster that ESPN can muster. Mute the TV and find a radio broadcast on the web to go with it and the problem is solved.

Absofreakinglutely!!!!

I mute the announcers and catch Dave Logan. I can handle the time differences. But you get a lot more info about what's happening on the field, who is in, who is not, and the information is accurate. I prefer that to anything those b*stards can possibly talk about. Anyway you can, get KOA, and they do cover a big area after dark.....

Logan and KOA also do the "home" announcing on NFL Fieldpass.

when HD was first being streamed ESPN would broadcast both with and without commentary. One channel would be only crowd noise on the field and players no discussion from the penalty box. Since HD has gone mainstream they add their input. I'd love to find a no-comment feed.

Jaws is pretty good in my opinion. Tirico is average and Kornhieser sucks. Commedians have no place in football commentry. I love Dennis Miller as a comedian and didn't like him at all doing football.

I mute the TV and try to put on the KOA stream instead. Usually it only lags a few seconds so it's fine, but sometimes the lag is too long.

When it works it feels like I'm back in Denver listening to a home broadcast. When it doesn't work I just tolerate the MNF crew.

I find it amazing that there are so many guys here that have to actively mute the games......seriously....how many of you can successfully "mute" out what your wife is saying on a daily basis without having to actually hit any mute buttons, yet you can't do the same when it involves other guys in a booth talking during a football game? Odd.

Is there an email address that we could start complaining too? I refuse to watch the ESPN games now because I can't stand that guy. There's no emphasis on the ACTUAL ****ING GAME BEING PLAYED. I hate primetime football nowadays - it just plain sucks. It's all about the guests and other non football crap.
