Seems both schools are well represented here. What do you think. I have divided loyalties here.

Tough year for #2s all season.

Just curious. If a woman sends her child to Eugene, does that make her a MotherDuck?

I'm sorry Oregon fans, this really sucks for you guys. It appears as though you guys are going to lose this game (you may still win), your shot at the national championship and your heisman hopeful quarterback. I was really pulling for you once it appeared as though OSU was eliminated. It just goes to show you how unpredictable this game can be. If OSU beats Michigan they will be in a much better position with this Oregon loss. You can eliminate 2 of the big 12 teams in front of Ohio St. because they play each other. That would leave LSU, West Virginia and one of the Big 12 schools. LSU still has to play a couple of decent teams in the SEC as well as a conference championship. West Virginia has to play UC and UConn as well as a conference championship. It just goes to show you never count your chickens before they are hatched.

I bet Nike sends her a complimentary duck costume though. Which of course is loaded with Benjamins.

No, college football needs its Darth Vaders. Now its like they draw straws to see who loses. It used to mean a lot more to win it all.

Thats a program and coaching problem. Has nothing to do with a balanced field of football players. If you cant get up to beat " said " team than you deserve to lose. End of story.

Excellence does exist, unfortuantely disciplin does not. The grade A teams are losing because they lose focus. If your dumb enough to believe a lower scaled team wont get up for you than you dont know football. When you come out thinking your going to walk over a opponent and dont translate that to the field you will lose. Pretty simple logic and it has helped teams out for years, come prepared to beat your opponent every week. No exceptions.

Spin it however you want. I dont see excellence. I see mediocrity.

Than i would suggest just dont watch College Football anymore. If you cant understand the logistics of it than it may not be the sport for you. Dont know what to tell you friend.

I would suggest you address conflict like a grown up and not resort to calling people stupid-head when someone disagrees with you. Its also not your place to tell me what I do with my time.

I didnt call you anything. Maybe you should shore up your reading comprehension mate. I simply made an obsveration about how you look at College football. And i merely suggested that you not watch the game based upon your unhappiness of it. Nothing more, nothing less.

See, you love this semantic tapdance. On one hand you deal with disagreement by challenging someones understanding, yet you dont want to admit to calling them dumb. Thats what youve done. I dont think Ive mischaracterized anything youve said.

I dont think your dumb at all. I just know your wrong about your outlook on College Football. But you are entitled to your opinion. But ive seen you in a few different threads in this forum whining and complaining about how " bad " it has been this year. All im suggesting to you is if its really bothering you just dont watch it. I tried to give you the reason why things happen the way they do in Football in general. You can either choose to accept that explanation or not. But ive never called you anything, im just pointing out things you have laid out for me in your posts.

I'm glad that every team can actually compete on such an uneven playing field. Really the biggest problem with college football is the rich get richer mystique of it. Small teams like Boise State just can't compete except for every once in a blue moon. BCS Sucks, they have to go to a tournament system. I mean how can you punk out undefeated teams just because they didn't play Michigan or some **** like that.

Yeah, I hope he does, too. But, it just doesn't look good. It really looks like it's a season ending injury!

Yeah, I know! But, you know...if our team can't play as a team without ONE good player...then we don't deserve to be there!

I have to say, it's been an exciting ride, though!! They'll bounce back after this and hopefully pull a win against Oregon State in two weeks!
