Did anyone else lose a bunch of posts? - The Orange Mane

It's weird. In Sunday's game thread, I referenced the fact that I was sitting on post # 6,666. By the end of the day Sunday, I was up to about 6,700. Today, I am back down to 6,650.

If I wake up tomorrow to the song "I Got You Babe," by Sonny Bono, I might lose my mind.

Honestly, anyone know how something like that happens?

And so this thread doesn't get moved for being off-topic, here's this. Anyone remember when we played the Colts back in 1988? It was on Monday Night Football, and we got beat something like 55-21. In reference to Groundhog Day, that's the game I was reminded of last Sunday. The Colts had been a pretty bad football team through most of the 80's. They won 9 games in 1987, but it was pretty much considered a fluke. Their leading passer was rookie Chris Chandler. They had Eric Dickerson, but that was about it. It was painful to watch.

Oh yeah - we finished 8-8 that year, and our leading rusher was Tony Dorsett. (I try to block the fact that he donned orange, but it just keeps coming back.) The next year, we were back in the Super Bowl.

I haven't been paying enough attention to notice myself. I will say that Groundhog Day is awesome.

Its my bad. I was chopping back a couple of threads ithat had photo attachments in the off-topics to see if it would help bandwidth, but instead of just chopping them temporarily, I perm-deleted the threads, which made a few post counts go bye bye.

Just shows Dom waste more time than we thought and it is in the off topic threads. Not even Broncos football. I guess Dom not only told us "what cd are you playing right now" but showed an attachment of the cd cover.

Meaning you were deleting many pages from the Speaking of Butts thread.
Greatest thread ever. Its a shame that all those butts are now gone.

If he was working in the "off topics" threads, the "Butts" one should be safe...it's not in that subforum...
