Just wait until he plays us at the end of the year. He'll go 300 easy.

I saw that game and give AP all the credit for setting the single game rushing record.

However, the Chargers did have 4 defenders injured in the game, all of them run-stoppers. They were down to 3rd stringers towards the second half. Nevertheless, the depleted defense combined with a lot of missed tackles allowed AP to run all day long.

He probably would have broken the record a few weeks ago, but dead coach walking Brad Childress thought it was wise to limit him to ten carries a game.

In spite of the piss poor coaching, AP breaks the record and is just plain sick. Congrats.

Not taking anything from AP. The guy is a stud and a beast! But the Vikings o-line was impressive.

Injuries on the Charger's d-line didn't help at all and though Cesaire and Bingham aren't good enough to be starters both have starting experience. Minnesota's o-line was dominating the LOS today.

Congrats to AP and one of my fantasy football teams!

Loved the side notes by the Charger fans too regarding injuries. Whatever makes you feel better.

It's not about injuries. Vikings DOMINATED the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball regardless if it was a starter or a backup. Can't win too many games when that happens.

What's worse? Getting blown out by the Lions or the great SD rushing D giving up a record 296 yds to Peterson.

You know, you'd think ESPN would be all over Adrian "All Day" Peterson. He is everything and then some of what they WANTED Reggie Bush to be.

TOo bad he is stuck in Minnesota. Might as well be stuck in Denver for all the love he will get.

I was thinking that earlier. A couple hours ago I turned on espnnews and the breaking news on the bottom was Pats win and then a little while later it was Jimmy Johnson wins a race. Now I'm sure they probably had it earlier in the day but if he was Reggie Bush or on the Pats,Colts, Major Market team they would be all over it.

AD is a great player. Maybe even better than LT. Minnesota's O line deserves some props too. I haven't seen run lanes that wide since we had to play Roaf and Shields.

If Reggie Bush racked up that much yardage in a two game stretch, ESPN would devote unlimited coverage to the event, including interviews with local residents about how Reggie takes their mind off the pain of rebuilding.

You must be a huge Charger fan to sell your man short for a kid who started the day with 128 pro carries.

I just saw the highlights and AP is ridiculous. It was like he was running against high schoolers.

He basically has TD's power and vision with greater acceleration and top end speed.

I am legitimately concerned if he's healthy, that he might break that record against us.
