Default Is there anyone who is NOT going to watch the NE-Indy game this weekend?

Is anyone worn out by the hype? Im really thinking about not watching it. Its a week of hype and then several weeks of how great the winning team is.

I'll flip through it once and a while. If Indy's winning, though, I'll tune in just to see how Brady b****es this week.

Ditto. If Indy wins then there it'll be fun to see all the pats fan complaining. It would be nice for Belichick to have a taste of his own medicine.

In the end, it's just interesting to see two of the top teams have at each other.

This will be a great football game. I don't see either team blowing out the other. Theres too much at stake(AFC home field advtg.) to play for. I'll be watching.

The best thing I can hope for, as far as sticking it to the media, would be a low scoring game, like 10-7 or so. That would really kill alot of the hype IMO.

Frankly, I'm already sick of this game. I'll probably watch though.

The poor folks of the Houston area and sections of northern and central California will be shown the Texans-Raiders game (although not in the Bay Area) instead of Colts-Patriots.

Calling the Texans-Raiders contest for CBS will be Leonard Pinth-Garnell and Steve Tasker.

Houston / Raiders may end up being a more entertaining game based on the simple fact that no one expects it to be but the teams are fairly evenly matched.

Exactly. I am a huge fan of football, NO WAY do I miss a game that could be a highlight of the season just because a few idiots like emmit smith and kornhole talk it up. It's hyped for a reason, no 2 teams with these records have ever met this late in the season.

Some people are having a tantrum because the Broncos are having a bad year. Enjoy your trips to JC Penney's with your wives, I'll be on the couch with some beers enjoying a no doubt highlight of the season.

Goddarn right Dag! I just re-watched the AFC championship from last year, and that was a great game. You people kill me with your " I ain't watching" bull****. We yearn all winter long for football, and yet when it's here, you won't watch?? Stupido.

Probably not. I am starting my Graveyard shift this weekend, so I will DVR the Bronco game and watch it after I wake up.

The first half of inside the NFL is nothing but Pats v Colts.

I have a feeling its not going to live up to the hype.

I don't like either team, but Colts-Patriots has become this generation's version of 49ers-Cowboys, 49ers-Giants, Steelers-Raiders, etc. None of the other NFL teams matter this year because of those two. All of the teams in the NFC are basically playing to brag about taking home the George Halas Trophy. Even if Denver miraculously won nine in a row and won the AFC West, does anybody think they would knock off either team in their own house?

If you feel there's nothing intriguing about the NFL this season, it's time to start watching college football because it's as wide open and capitivating as ever.

If you're a football fan, how can you not watch the #1 and #2 teams going at it half way into the season while both being undefeated? Especially if you want one of those teams to get some karma payback.

That said, the hype is out of hand, which is why I'm not listening to any talk radio or watching NFL Network this week. Just going to enjoy the games on Sunday this week.

Hopefully the game lives up to it's billing. The Colts blowing out the classless ones is fine for me as well though.

I'll watch it but only because they are somewhat evenly matched. I usually avoid Patriots and Colts games because I tend to find blow outs boring...I mean I'd much rather watch the Dolphins and Rams go at it than to see the Colts or Pats walk thru some mid-level team again.

If I watch the Baltimore/Pittsburgh game, the TV will be on "mute"... ESPN and Tony K are absolutely ruining MNF.

The Seahawks have such a horrible defense (prolly worse than us even), that game could turn into a quasi-Browns-Bengals type shootout. Could be VERY entertaining.

Yes, it certainly could.... we may be watching that game and just checking in on the other one during commercials.
