Default Javon Walker Update

I didn't see this posted....so delete if necessary.

Javon Walker said Monday that he hopes to return sooner than the initial six-week recovery timetable following knee surgery.

"It will be sooner than six weeks," Walker said. "It will be much soon than that. It feels much better now."

Good news.....

And a week before his surgery he was coming back and was going to make a huge difference.

I still don't think Javon will play another down this season.

Javon Walker just needs to sit out for the six weeks and heal, if the Broncos are out of the playoff hunt then sit out the rest of the season. Come back next season 100%.

lol - let the guy sit out the year. we arent a playoff team right now. it feels like his career is on the line with this surgery - and we are going to rush him back? for what?

im not being negative - i very much enjoy this team. but if we are banking on the future - lets keep this guy healthy

why on earth would you let Walker sit out the year if he's fit to come back and we're 1 game out of the Division lead

I just hope we have him for next year...

It's strange, this year reminds of the Year 1 AE (After Elway)...

Even though it's become en vogue to bash the defense, the offense clearly needs him out there.

Do you think we'd stand a chance against NE or Indy? Because those are the teams we'll have to go through to make it out of the AFC. Not happening this year.

I'd be thrilled to win the division and get the dance, hell I'd obviously even love to win it. But it's just not going to happen with the football we've been playing.

However, if Javon can go, you play him regardless. This is professional football and if you're healthy you play, regardless of the teams record or situation.

id love to have him back, but I worry about that knee.
I think to rush him back may be a mistake.

If nothing else, it will help Cutler. As that is, I hope he doesn't rush it. Unfortunately I think we are just about done for this season. No defense = no playoffs.

It seems like I only Post when I am depressed about the prior Game's efforts or we lost-sorry. Anyway, maybe I'm a Bandwagoner (hope not), but some Years you just kind of hang on and hope the ride isn't too bumpy (the losses just keep piling on, and you go numb from the pain)-you know, like the late 80's or early 90's when you kind of knew that we weren't going anywhere.

I really want to be optimistic, but it seems pretty dark right now. We have some really good Players, but this truly is a rebuilding Year isn't it?
