Nah...only a fumble that could have gone for 7. I'll take an INT that doesn't hurt us over that any day.

A fumble which Kuper knocked out of his hands right when it was snapped, HARDLY Cutler's fault.

True...but it is his job to hold onto the ball.
...and things just spiraled from there for this team.

Im with Ratboy, freak thing not Cutler's fault. Now had it been Plummer, it would have been all his fault and everyone would be blaming him for it.

There is a fundamental difference in what you can blame Cutler for and what you could blame Plummer for.

I remember the discussion after the Indy game last year. We couldn't stop Manning but Plummer did his best to outscore him. I get back on the Mane and I see that Plummer's interception cost us the game, not the defense who couldn't get a stop all night...

I still don't like Jay's body language. It's like he's not confident. Every time I see him in an interview or at the podium, he slouching, leaning forward, or looking under his hair. Anyone else notice that?

No QB can hold onto THAT ball, Sass. Kuper slapped it as Jay was going back. Have you seen a replay of that yet?

Just a thought...if an O-Lineman is fast enough to pull across the center and knock the ball out of the QB's hands then a couple of things may have happened

A) The QB opened up to the wrong side

B) The pulling guard pulled too deep and ran into the QB

C) The exchange between the center and the QB took too long

D) The QB didn't have the ball completely in his hands

From talking to Chris I have a pretty good idea to what happened but it doesn't make a difference because 1 PLAY DOESN'T WIN OR LOSE A GAME. We had numerous penalties, 2 touchdowns against us that were over 50 yards, and were missing our best running back. Bottom line is Green Bay took advantage of something that their all-world QB felt like he could exploit and executed it.

Edited it..meant center and QB not center and guard

And wiping his chin with his shoulder, or wrist. I dont know if I read anything into it, besides wanting to get the Q & A done & over with. No one I've seen enjoys talking to the Hacks, besides Sharpe and Marshall sometimes. Ever seen Rod Smith interviewed after a loss. He'll say why you asking me stupid questions for, or just stare at the reporter and shake his head.

Agree, it was hardly Cutler's fault for the fumble.
Considering the defense had 98 yards to stop the GB drive that led to a FG, I can easily forget that fumble.
