Default Falcons released DT Grady Jackson.

Jackson, who is likely pushing 400 pounds and sued the team in the offseason, had been starting for the Falcons. His release is a sign that the team has started evaluating players for the future. Rookie Trey Lewis will take Jackson's spot.

Sign him up now!! He'd start along side Marcus Thomas Monday Night. And would be pretty good in a rotation with Adams. I believe the run defense would greatly improve.

I've never heard of the guy, is he worth a look? Or not worth creating a roster space?

Ummm well he's really fat and can take up space. 7 weeks ago I would have wanted him, now...I'm on the fence.

Seriously, how can you be posting on this board and not know who Grady Jackson is? Are you only a Bronco fan and NOT a football fan? I don't understand it....

Not a chance in hell they sign him. I could be wrong, but with the great signing of Rice before the season, I just don't see it happening.

If he were willing to take a similar deal to Rice's - sure - why not. We need another fatty to stick in there when Adams is on the O2 bottle..

400 lbs? Thats huge, but he can take up space while Adams has a sandwich on the sideline.

Um, I watch football every weekend, just not a name I recall. Sorry to disappoint you. And yes. I am only a Broncos fan. Would I be better off liking all 32 teams?

I played football in H.S. and my son has now played for three years (he's 10)
So yes, I am a fan of the game. Sheesh...

sorry to offend you "Arkansas" Dave Rudabaugh.

Ok, admittedly, I should remember the name then. I just don't. I remember Tim Brown. and most other enemy names. Early signs of Alzheimers I guess.

Grady played for Bates in GB in 2005 and had one of his better years (55 tackles).

Could start Grady and Sam both at the same time! It would be a wall of blubber!

I didn't know of him until he made his big stink in NO.

Unless his play has dramatically declined this season (he was good last year), then give him a shot I say! Amon Gordon or Antwon Burton are highly expendable.

SIGN HIM!!!! We can always blow more cash on practice squad players...he'd fit in well with Rice there.
