Default Brandon Stokely Appreciation thread...

Come on guys...do one for everyone then! This was a team effort!
Brandon has been money on key third down plays all year...and it seemed like Cutler finally took notice and got him the ball more last night!

GOOD JOB BRANDON!

Stokley catches everything. We should look his way more often. He reminds me of Eddie Mac. Tough and can catch.

Oh man. The ever present "every-white-Bronco-is-another-Eddie-mac" post.

PLEASE STOP!

He is nothing like Ed McCaffrey. Ed was big slower and physical and liked to take the ball in traffic blow people up in the run game. Stokely is small, quick, fast and likes to find holes in the zone but isn't the best blocker in the game. They couldn't be more opposite of each other.

It has nothing to do with him being white Kaylore. It has to do with the fact that Stokley catches everything, just like Eddie Mac. I know Ed Mac was 6'3 and stokley is 5'10. You throw a ball at either of them and they will 90% of the time catch it.

I've always thought it was a quality signing. Of course we have the occasional dumbass that can't get their head out of their ass long enough to see straight, much less appreciate a decent WR:

We're idiots if we dont sign him to an extension before he hits the open market at the end of the season. It's not as if we've anyonelse knocking the door for that 3 spot bar a couple of projects in Martinez and Clark.

He's by far our biggest upcoming FA.

I'd compare Stokley more to the upcoming Wes Welker. Both very similar IMO, small, fast and know where the ball is.

Cutler finally threw to him more than three times last night....he's been very productive out there and more than deserving of more throws his way in the future.

The Racemen can say what they want but this has nothing to do with any of that nonsense, it has to do with productivity and Stokely has been criminally underused in this offense....hopefully last night finally reversed that.

Brandon Stokley, redeeming the #14, one catch at a time

Might be a little easier to appreciate him if he didn't act like a flava clown half the time...and stayed out of trouble!

That being said, I'm not saying he isn't a good WR.
