Default Congratulations Guys

Darrent and Damien would be proud of the team and the effort tonight.

And yes, I know how you feel. So that's what pressure and sound tackling looks like.

I'm happy the guys could rally and put a quality product on the field on D-Will and D-Nash's memorial day.

Thankfully Shanny woke up and decided that Cutler will need to take some lumps along with the wins while throwing the ball. AIR IT OUT!

As for the defense, they probably were playing on adreniline but the pass rush looked good and I liked that we attacked in the 1st half. We sat on our heels in the second and that was not good football. This team still has a lack of fundamental football. We don't wrap up and we don't cover very well outside of Bly and Champ.

The young defensive linemen on this team are going to be good. We just need a few more players at DT and we'll be alright.

Unfortunately with the good we take the bad... the LB's and even the safeties now are by far some of the worst in coverage in the NFL. Thats bad when thinking about playing either the Colts or Pats right now... as well as KC and SD being in our division.

Denver was playing with emotion for the memorial of their fallen teammates.

And Pittsburgh seemed to be sleepwaking through most of the game.

But Denver was impressive for the most part playing without a couple of key players. IMO they just saved their season. A big loss tonight and their team takes a huge nosedive. I can see them winning the next two games leading up to the game in Arrowhead.

The Chiefs seem to have a good chance to win their next two games. But face Indy after the Denver game.

The Chargers have two games they should win but then have tough games against the Colts and Jaguars.

And our friends the Raiders, remain a big joke.

Should be interesting how the next several weeks play out.

We had some heart and fire tonight.
We haven't seen that all year! So all is good for the moment!

Crazy how the AFC West has been a range of emotions for all parties involved... seems like every team has been up, down, and every where in between.

I think Javon is done for the season so that will hurt. Thankfully, Jay Cutler will have more to do with this passing game succeeding vs. Javon's injury. Shanahan needs to keep airing it out. The more confidence Jay builds during this season, the more likely we are to round this into a solid campaign.

I really wish Ian Gold would stop meeting each opposing running back with a hug and a kiss after each play though :S I mean, he doesn't have to kill people like Ray Lewis, but come on!

Fortunately -- Stokely is filling Javon's shoes.

I had no idea how good a WR this guy is! He is one of the best receivers we've ever had in Denver.

I knew he'd be a hit. Reminded me of when Lynch came to town. A lot of people were skeptical, but if you followed this guy's past... there were a lot of indicators that he was talented and pretty driven.

We're definitely lucky to have him.

Plus, props to Martinez, Clark and Marshall for playing almost flawless games!

I really like Clark, by the way. I think the more he gets the ball, the more we're all going to like him.

Win or lose at least they looked like a football team that cared a lot about playing hard for their coaches. Sometimes it takes the fans booing and a lot of people saying you stink to get players fired up. They looked fired up tonight and that was nice to see.

I like Young on the returns for now, other than the muff in the endzone that he wasn't taking anywhere he was looking good and getting positive returns every time.

Jay Cutler put up enough points to most likely keep my fantasy team UNDEFEATED, and to top it off it was a very entertaining game. The Broncos came out and just flat out played harder than the Steelers. Even when Pitt looked like they were rallying in the end, it felt like Denver was still in control just based on the emotion they were playing with. Just goes to show - any given Sunday. The Squeelers ran into a buzzsaw last night. Congrats on the win.

Thats it! Your booing helped! Great rationalization.
