Default Broncos-Pats Next Year in Edmonton??

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/rumors/p...?urn=nfl,49998

Quote:
The NFL is considering awarding a regular-season game next year to a Canadian venue. And while Toronto abd British Columbia are in the mix, Sportsnet.ca is reporting the game will be in Edmonton and will feature the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos.

Denver owner Pat Bowlen, is an Edmonton native.

The NFL may give the green light to play a regular-season game in Canada next year as part of its plans to market its product outside of the U.S.

Are you ticket-holders getting screwed out of a home game next year?

As long as the NFL brings in more money in the long run (they could give a crap about season ticket owners)

If it's Denver losing a home game next year, **** that, they better do something to make it up to the season ticket holders.

Are they doing anything for Miami this year? They are the home team vs the Giants next week in London. I doubt many season ticket holders are going to that game.

Well, we have only won 2 of the last 8, home field advantage has gone away!

How about making the preseason games optional? Maybe have some chartered buses for the trip. Of course, I can see the Broncos setting up travel packages where they get 50% profit. It would be one "road" game maybe for me but with the dollar losing its value even to the Canadian currency, it could be one expensive trip. Is this game set up for a Denver home game? I thought Pats got the game.
