Have you ever been to a game? It may look/sound loud when the Broncos are on O but it is not.

I have read a few "Fans need to learn how to cheer" comments. To them I say F.U.

Example, against the Raiders, on the last couple of drives it was so ****ing loud that I could not even hear myself scream. After the fat ****er missed the kick it was crazy.

The Broncos come out and Cutler is calling for the fans to be quit. The noise was may be, at the most 3% of what it was when the Raiders had the ball. Sorry but there is no way you are going to "turn-off" 75000 people. No Way. This ain't Golf. If the Broncos O can't function with that noise, then we will never win a road game.

(And of course I will be in my Living room in San Diego)

Hey, if the players act like they wanna win and show some heart, maybe the fans will have something to cheer for.

Ask not what your team can do for you...but what you can do for your team.

OK...you're retarded...

Around here, I can find plenty of Broncos jerseys, but nothing with orange as the primary color. I'll have to go online to find an orange jersey...

My buddy is trying to talk me into going I have tickets but am probably going to sell them to him. It's cold out there and it just doesn't seem worth the drive from the Springs to watch a double digit loss.

It was a JOKE DUMBASS. As far as I know a far weather fan is someone who only like a team when they are good. FYI, It has nothing to do with the weather. IRONEY!

By the way the weather is Flawless.

I am pretty darn HOLY, however the joke was not very funny. I give you that.

I do miss Denver, we moved out here in July. I miss putting on the cold weather gear and going to the games.

Where do you really live?

I really do live in the Springs now, just haven't updated profile in awhile, I work in Golden, so my wife and I will be moving to Golden in the summer. I lived in California for 15 years but decided to move back to Colorado 2 years ago. I love it here but part of me, a big part, misses the great weather out there. It's nice to only have to see snow when you drive to it.

Golden is a great place. I got married in Golden.

I should have left my cold weather gear for you. I always stayed pretty warm at the games.

Default 12th man flag gone

I may have found the reason:

The "12th man" term has been used by various American football teams including the NFL's Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, and Chicago Bears in reference to their supporters, though the Bears no longer use the term "12th man" at the request of Texas A&M. The Buffalo Bills, and Seattle Seahawks continue to use the phrase. The Chicago Bears now use the term "The Fourth Phase" referring to the fans contribution toward victory along with the contributions of the other 3 phases namely offense, defense and special teams.

As a tribute to their fans, the Seahawks retired the number 12 during a game on December 15, 1984. Since then #12 Jerseys have been sold by the team and worn by Seahawk fans, often with the name "Fan" on the back. The Seahawks also have a ceremony before each home game where a flag bearing the #12 is raised by a prominent individual.

The Buffalo Bills have honored their 12th man by inducting them into the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame inside the Ralph Wilson Stadium. They were inducted in 1992 because of their loyal support during the team's early 90's Super Bowl runs. The name "12th Man" still is on The Wall today.

Texas A&M trademark issues and Seattle Seahawks lawsuit
The term "12th Man" was coined and marketed to represent the Texas Aggie fans after the 1922 Dixie Classic. While intellectual property laws recognize such common law uses in trademark disputes, the official registration of the mark was not filed by Texas A&M (U.S. Reg. No. 1948306) until September of 1990, after passage by Congress of the Federal Dilution Trademark Act of 1995. This law allowed Texas A&M to use potential damage to the trademark through dilution as a justification in its lawsuit against the Seattle Seahawks. According to statements made by Texas A&M officials, they sent requests to stop using the phrase to the Seattle Seahawks (2004, 2005), Buffalo Bills (undated), and the Chicago Bears (undated). Both the Bills and the Bears responded to the requests stating they would no longer use the phrase, however the Seahawks failed to respond to the request.

In January 2006, Texas A&M filed suit against the Seattle Seahawks to protect the trademark and in May 2006, the dispute was settled out of court. In the agreement, Texas A&M licensed the Seahawks to continue using the phrase "12th Man" in exchange for a licensing fee and public acknowledgement by the NFL franchise as to Texas A&M's ownership of the phrase

If this is the case bronco fans need to (make) there own! lets spread these things everywhere in the stadium maybe this will open some eyes!
