Default Strahan's book: Broncos Play Dirty

I hate seeing this brought up again, but since it's a bye week, here we go.

Quote:
In his soon-to-be-released book, New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan is expected to talk about offensive units that use "dirty" tactics. In a conference call with media members while promoting the book Tuesday, Strahan addressed the Broncos' line.

"It's no secret about the Broncos line," Strahan said. "It's not innocence. Some of this is so blatant you can't miss it."
http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_7152628

I remember when this controversy was huge. Sports writers still write as if our line cheated. People in bars still see me in my Broncos shirt and say, "YOUR LINE CHEATED TO WIN! HAR HAR HAR!"

Quote:
The Bengals believe Foster's block, which dislocated and fractured Williams' left ankle and ended his season, was unnecessary and another example of the Broncos' unsavory blocking methods.

Jaguars defensive end Paul Spicer was lost earlier this season with a broken leg after being blocked by Broncos left tackle Matt Lepsis. The league determined Lepsis' block, like Foster's, was legal.

"I've been talking about it for 10 years," an annoyed Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said at a news conference last week. "It's one of those situations where the average football fan really doesn't understand that all teams do that. All teams do it. In the game, Cincinnati had a number of them."

Cheating is breaking the rules. You know, like the Patriots do. If people hate the broncos and want to say we cheated, why don't they bring up where we might have actually bent the rules, like the salary cap? Why is it always our old line?

Find a defensive lineman who likes our blocking scheme, then you'll have a story.

I don't think Strahan's ever had a sack against us.

I agree Garcia...

If it's cheating then throw some damn flags! You ever notice that the Broncos are one of the least penalized teams in the NFL? Without doing a bunch of research I know that they were the LEAST penalized team last year.

What a good person to listen to about treating people with respect, living up to your commitments, and playing by the rules. Michael Strahan, my loud mouthed, wife trashing, gap toothed hero!

he's like their 4th best linemen these days, the end is approaching...

gotta admit, always liked the home run move after a sack, but is it me, or did Strahan get that move from Neil Smith?

Maybe Favre will be generous enough to roll unprotected to Dumervil's side a few times and then inexplicably fall down in front of him, when the Pack travels to Denver in a few weeks....

I wonder if Strayedfromhomeintoboyfriendsbed will talk about how Brent Fararerer helped him cheat to break the sack record?

Is this the Michael Strahan that plays DE for the Giants? The same one that signed that prenup that left him pinching pennies and his ex buying mansions? Is it that same guy? I sure hope not because that guy is too stupid to breathe, I can't imagine him writing an insightful piece...of anything really.

The only time he wrote the letter H was when one of his turds broke off in 3 pieces.

It also made the letters A, K, and a KISS looking letter S as it started to swirl down the toilet.
