Nothing to write home about. I guess shanny finally wants to get bigger on the O-Line. The lighter gimmick is over.

He played LB and DL in college before being moved to OL by the Jets. Maybe he will move back to DT.

It seems that Fisher and Shanny are pretty good buddies. Maybe Fisher had talked a lot of good things about him or something.

Haven't read all the responses to this question, Sass, but my thought is they have the opportunity to snag someone they think has good talent from another practice squad. You can't raid another team's PS unless you're signing them to your active roster. This was their chance to raid.

Perceptive...and very, very likely true.

Ignoring your Practice Roster to bring in someone without any applicable knowledge of the Bronco complex blocking scheme 5 games into the regular season borders on shocking...not something Shanahan has ever done along the O-line.

Very surprising move...even a bit odd.

Which is why they are on our practice squad instead of at home.. Yeah it makes perfect sense in the Shanahan world of logic...
