Default Halloween is juuuust around the corner....

What are you dressing up as this year?

Last year there were some great ideas and people posted some great pics. Lets do it again this year! But, first, I need some good suggestions! A few of my friends are doing the whole 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' thing. That should be interesting. But, Me?!? I wanna be different!

Last year the girls and I did the four seasons. One of my friend's was pregnant at the time so she went as Mother Nature. I was Autumn!

So, lets just throw out some ideas, pictures, yada yada...then we'll finish this thread off after the Holiday with pictures!!! Yeah? Sound good??

Ohhh, I like the Bavarian beer girl idea. What did you buy for that costume? I also was thinking about something like Pippy Longstocking!

And, we all know what Pez will be.....

I found a good deal on the costume on ebay.... it's exactly like this one..

http://cgi.ebay.com/8985-Heidi-Fraul...QQcmdZViewItem

... only instead of white thigh-highs, I wore black ones with a black ruffle and black satin bows.

I found the cutest rainbow "ribbon tutu" for this year's costume. It's actually intended for a little girl, but the waist stretches. I'll be doubling up two of them because I needed two hair scrunchies to to twin ponytails. I'll probably use some colored hair extensions and rainbow-striped thigh-highs over tights (for modesty's sake; the organza ribbons are quite sheer).

Speaking of Halloween, someone around here brought up a related topic. Daylight Saving Time usually ends just before Halloween. From this year forward, Daylight Saving Time will be pushed into November (I think it's November 4th). Therefore, it won't be dark early for Halloween like it has been in the past. That kind of sucks...

It'll still be dark enough to go! Besides, I only dress up for the parties...and well, those will end up indoors and much later!

Ohhh, I could be a football player for Halloween. I have the jersey...just need the pads!

No ****. We don't have too many "trick or treat aged" kids in my neighborhood, but it seems that the "meximericans" from surrounding areas bus/drive their "offspring" into our neighborhood to gather supplies. Kind of sickening, but they are just kids!

Maybe I'll hand out carrots and celery sticks this year!
