Default Some upside...

The best record in our division is 2-2. We couldn't have had a better time for a bye week. The trade deadline hasn't passed. We've had the same problems for about 10 consecutive games.

It's not much, but I'm still gonna cling to that tiny shimmer at the end of the tunnel. I'm not thinking Super Bowl by any stretch, but this division can be won.

Well, in one sense, you're right. We're 1/2 game out of first place, with eleven to play. The division could be won by anyone, at this point.

The problem I see is that our defense isn't a tweak or two away from being good. They seem completely lost. Nobody is doing anything all that special to beat us. They're just running the ball down our throats. How do you fix that?

Figure 10-6 probably wins the AFC West this year. We would have to go 8-3 to get there. With this defense, I just can't see that happening.

Post bye: Pitt, GB. At home, where we are 2-6 over the last 8 games, and those 2 wins being FG flukes. We'll be 2-5 soon enough. Game over.

I thought our run defense improved.....at least between the tackles....they certainly didn't seem to get big chunks up the middle.

The sweeps on the other hand....killed us.

The way I feel at present there's more chance of Bobo finding his dick than us winning the Division.
