Andre Hall
Default Young-Bell-Hall no worries

Unlike everyone else here I am excited about the change at RB. Henry is a very good back, but alot of times he poorly executed the broncos run scheme. On stretch plays he would for the most part go to wide, and take a loss. He seemed to go latterly more than vertically. On long runs instead of juking the last defender he would go straight at him. His biggest positive was breaking tackles.
In Young I see a back like mike bell who has listened to turner, understands how to have success in this offense, and goes out and does it. Mike Bell can run very well he just lacks the homerun punch, young can hit the homerun.
In Andre hall you will see serious speed within 25 yards and below. He will look like Eddie Mac sometimes getting blown up, but he will always get up, and never needs a breather. I Believe the combo of these 3 guys is better than the whole of Travis henry. Henry is a thug and his team knows it. I would watch for the chemistry to improve, and I predict victory this weekend.

If Henry was hit in the backfield on 10 different runs, he gets stopped in the backfield maybe once out of those ten times.....I'm not going to kid myself into believing this won't hurt. He consistently covered up a lot of the Oline's inconsistent play this year because he could break tackles that most people couldn't and got those tough yards. It was obvious in the pre-season, and it's been obvious in the regular season.

It's tough but Henry is getting what he deserves. Hope those guys step up and that so-called teammate Henry can sit there and realize what he's done to himself, his family, his teammates and the fans. He doesn't deserve an ounce of respect.

Why's that? Denver has a good history of running backs of all calibers playing for them.

Henry was leading the league in rushing and now you have nothing but undrafted free agent RB's to use. You could get lucky and have that work out but to pretend like that is a good thing on the surface is one of the biggest homer takes I have ever seen on this board....and that is saying a ton since I have been around for several years.

It may or may not work out for us but like another person said i like the idea of having Selvin back there. Henry is good but i like Young better because of his speed. Problem is, can he be a pounder in the middle. I guess we will find out Sunday how they do but i think we will be ok. Defensively? Forget about it. We are ****.

I will support the RBBC thing again if we do that. But I think Selvin Young will be the starter from the get go, or at least win the job after a few weeks of us going with the rbbc.

Like I said in the the travis henry suspension thread, I'm not worried about our running game. I just have a gut feeling Young is going to be a slam dunk for us.

I'm wondering what happens to all the cash? If Henry gets suspended, are we stuck with his salary against the cap for the rest of the year, or is there any way we get some manuevering room out of this?

And who would even be available (other than Pothead Williams) to bolster the RB ranks? Or would it make more sense to try to address the LB or DT situation?

Wali Lundy is out there who was released from Houston. I would love to see him come in here.

Well, I look at it this way. Our runner is going to produce. It's a priviledge to run in this system. Henry has lost the priviledge. So it is a good thing fo rthe next guy that takes the job.

When he get's suspended the money doesn't cant against the cap, the broncos will probally try to get 1/2 of the signing bonus back which would be 6 mill.

Didn't the Broncos have his contract include something like this that would make it void or something?

Like they laughed when we had to play guys like Reuben Droughns, an unknown 7th rounder named Mike Anderson, Olandis Gary and then some sixth round rookie named Terrell Davis had to step in for a banged up Rod Bernstein.

Yeah, our backup running backs have a track record of being pretty laughable.

No one cares about the past. If Selvin young scores a touchdown this year I'll be shocked.

I'm sorry Bob, but I just don't like you at all. If you were on fire, I wouldn't piss on you. I don't know how many td's he will score, but I would bet if he gets more than 18 carries, he has 100+ yards.

So you'd be "shocked" if the (now apparent) starting RB on the NFL's #5 ranked rushing offense scored a touchdown somewhere in the course of the next 12 games?

Do you have any idea how foolish that sounds?
