hey, I feel you. I am going to the Angels/Red Sox game Sunday that starts at Noon. I hope to get out by 3PM so my Chargers cousin and I can run over to Hooters (Broncos OC Headquarters-so they say) to watch the last quarter. Baseball playoffs is more important than a regular season game. I can bring my handheld tv as it is on our local SoCal station. Nice tribe win BTW!

The Rockies have made all these football woes tolerable. I totally understood, even if I wouldn't do the same.

Whooo hoo Go Yanks.... Sorry, I bandwagoned on the Yankees in '78 as a 13 year old with no team in Denver. Have been a fan of their's ever since and earned my stripes in the terrible '80's. If, however the Yankees and Rock's make it all the way I'll have the heart ache of rooting against the Yankees for my home town Rockies. |

+1, I'm having a hard time allotting the correct amount of juju for each team, but I find myself leaning toward the Rockies right now. This is the first time since Avy cup years I have put another team before the Broncos.

I'm not trying to rain on the parade, but there is a big problem with juicers in MLB, has been since 1982 or so. Remember Ron Gant? Showed up in spring with 30 pounds of muscle and proceeded to light the *eague up in HR's and stolen bases. All his HR's should be erased from that point on. Remember Lenny Dykstra? Showed up in spring with 30 pounds of muscle and proceeded to light the *eague up in HR's and stolen bases. Remember Canseco the 50 HR and 50 stolen base guy? The first man to reach that? Why are his records still on the books? Erase those stats and many, many, many, many, many others, and then I'll get excited about ML* again. |

I understand your anger but do you watch baseball based on records or how well your TEAM plays? See, you dont mind the steroids in football because it isnt based on personal stats like baseball. Everyone knows how many HRs Babe Ruth hit from back in the 1930s when he retired but can you name how many TDS Rice caught? BTW: Dont forget Brady Anderson hitting 52 HRs and never even being close before or after that. Probably a contract year. |

Playoffs trump everything, no matter the sport.
I actually like Cleveland and I don't mind the Tribe...they're okay for an AL team. |
