NFL suspended free agent DE Kenard Lang and QB Tim Couch six games for violating the league's policy against steroids and related substances.

Lang tried out for the Saints in late August, and might get some interest if a desperate team calls late in the year. Couch had a cup of coffee with the Jaguars in training camp, which figures to be his last in the NFL.

I can understand Lang needing to use steriods, but Couch. I guess his arm is shot after not throwing a ball since Kentucky.
