I don't know if this is apropos, but I thought these were interesting blurbs from the secret parts of ESPN's chats:

Evan (NYC): Keith, Is there any team that matches up better against the Pats than the Broncos (or what the Broncos will be by playoff time to be more specific)... Champ takes Randy out of the game, Bly covers Welker, and we blitz. On offense, Denver has 3 Solid WRs, the best blocking TE in football, a great run game, and a QB who is only going to get better. Thoughts??

Keith Kidd: That's a great point. Outside of the Colts, the Broncos have had a lot of success against Bill Belichick's defenses. My biggest concerns with Denver right now is scoring points in the red zone and stopping the run. If they want a shot at the AFC West, which I think they do, they have to improve against the run. I think Mike Shanahan is the best play caller in the league, along with Josh McDaniels of the Patriots.

Travis, SLC: Keith, How do the Broncos improve against the run. Also how do they turn all those yards into points?

Keith Kidd: First of all, they have to get DJ Williams playing better inside. Also, they have to improve their gap integrity and responsibilities. However, they're a little thin on the end with Drumville and Rice. Expect Bates to load up with multiple 8-man fronts and try to slam the door on Jacksonville's running game. They had some success against Oakland when they went 8 in the box and man on the outside against Oakland's 3-wide sets.
