Plummer has been far more criticized more than McNabb. But then again McNabb was/is a better QB than Jake was.

silly question. I did not ever hear Rashlimbaugh talking smack about jake.
Mcnabb is coming off an acl. I really think that these guys come back way too fast.

Rush Limbaugh actually didnt talk **** about McNabb. He was talking **** about the media's love fest with a QB that hasnt and likely will never do **** in the league.

McNabb by a huge margin. Far larger market, far more critics and............................................... ... he's black, isn't he, Rush?

I'm not sure what your definition is, but I'd say this is taking some ****, especially since he specifically is naming McNabb.

Quote:
"I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL.
The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well.
There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit
for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve
."
As far as McNabb never doing anything in the league, I think you are a little harsh. Since being drafted, McNabb has made the Eagles a perennial contender despite the fact that outside of Westbrook and 1 year with T.O., he has had almost no offensive weapons to work with.

Yeah, I never heard Rush talking down Plummer but Alec never heard Rush talking down McNabb so there's a pretty good snapshot on how people perceive things.

I think if you slack off or are percieved to slack off at the end of a SB where you could have won it that that would hurt your stock some.

Rightfully so. Plummer had more success than Griese did. What's the saying? "Winning games hides a lot of stink"

McNabb takes way more heat than Plummer ever did. Hell, just blame everything on Pat Burrell.

The Denver media is no different than the Philly media, and our fans are more demanding than philly fans any day of the week. As far as who took more heat...I have no clue.

not sure what the Phillies' left fielder has to do with it...did you mean Tillman?

Check out Jason Fatlock's column on Fox sports. I think he does a pretty decent job sizing up Mc Nabb's situation.

Pat Burrell is blamed for everything from bad weather to kidnappings in Philly. Sorry, kind of a local thing.

You know what is kind of funny is that he chose Manning and Palmer out as the qb's who get less criticism then him. Aside from Brady, what qb in the NFL doesn't get more criticism then Manning and Palmer? Shouldnt he be compairing himself to a white qb who is playing at about the same performance level as he is right now?

For fun I looked up qb stats by qb rating, and Losman is one below McNabb, and Harrington is 4 higher. I wonder what they think about how they are babied by the media and fans compared to him.
#2 on the list hears cheers from his own fans when he is injured even though he is white! Can't they see his skin tone from up in the stands?

I guess he does. He may have deserved to in the past. But not right now. I wonder how annoying a 9 year starting qb's b****ing is to the black qb's who actually have had to deal with not being considered for a starting job or can't even get a tryout at qb before being asked to switch positions. Kind of like a billionaire complaining about taxes.

any qb black, white, or green deserves any and all criticism if, when the superbowls on the line and they cant stop puking and get their fat butt up the field to run a simple two minute offense......deserves critcism.
