Default Some people need to relax

Look at how Denver is moving the ball. They are getting 400+ yards a game!

The running game is working, they have the leading rusher in the NFL.

The points will come. Denver has a lot of new players and Cutler has had a total of 7 starts and the hardest thing for a QB to do is redzone. The positive is that Cutler has been careful with the ball.

Brandon Marshall has been amazing, he has probowl written all over him. Denver's OL is getting young and has tons of potential as is the DL. The DL is actually getting sacks and Dumerville and Moss look like they can be a force for years to come.

All you complainers, and whiners need to take a step back and enjoy what you are seeing now, because this here is the birth of a dynasty. Denver probably isn't going to be great this year but that doesn't mean you won't see great things.

I remember Elway's rookie year and how people piled on him and they were upset and ranting that he was a bust and that Denver sucked.... Well, these people missed a lot of great plays by Elway and they missed the begining of a dynasty because they never took the time to look.

16 years from now when Jay Cutler is going into the Hall of Fame are you going to say you knew he was a HOF from the first. Or are you going to let the first couple years of his career go by without realizing how special he is?

I know it doesn't matter if Denver goes 9-7 this year or 13-3 because whatever happens Denver is set for years and years to come. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Well stated. This team will be really fun to watch, and their growth from game to game will be pretty awesome to see. I dont think the game in Indi is an automatic W for the Colts.

Its two games into the season way to early to tell much of anything.

the thing I love is how they built the team around him at the skill positions. Walker, Marshall, a healthy Stokey, a healthy Graham, a healthy Scheff, Henry, Young.

And the great thing is is that they are all relatively young. I am just excited as hell at what this team can be. If we can get back to the quick starts, hell, we won't need a run defense. I don't know, I am just happy as hell with where this team can go. Great post Atlas.

Great post Atlas. Pretty much what I wanted to express but didn't have the time to do it. (and no one would have listened to me. )

This team is talented, young, and FUN. This is the most fun I've had watching the Broncos in a long time.

I'd just like to add that we had 400+ yards last week and ran only 1 screen. A play that was very effective against the Bills the week prior. I think we'll see more screens in the weeks to come and we'll get some big plays from that as well.

I've not seen anybody mention what a good job both Pears and Lepsis did Sunday either. If those guys were struggling we probably would have gone with more screen plays. With Spicer and Hayward coming off the edge next week, we may run a few more to slow the rush!

Weren't you the one calling Cutler an idiot earlier today?

I'm just kidding man, I know how you meant it. I like your positive thinking, I agree, the future looks bright, we have alot of young talent on both sides of the ball. As much as I agonized yesterday, I am enjoyiing watching these young kids play and develop.

I'm old enough to remember when they wanted to run Elway outta town too.

We just have to go with it... the playoffs may or may not come this year, we have a pretty tough schedule especially down the stretch, but they will come and a Super Bowl too eventually.

Just sit back, cheer your @ss off and enjoy the ride

I do like the outlook on offense. I think we will be consistently in the top 5 in offense for awhile. I do agree that the points will come.
What worries me is that run defense, and we need to see how it does against a real contender.
When we hit the bye will show a better outlook on everything. If we are 4-1, I'll be happy. 5-0 absolutely thrilled and extremely optimistic. 3-2, or worse, 2-3, and well, growing pains.

You see. That's what I'm talking about.

When llama realizes that he is seeing a dynasty he will have already missed some of the best parts of that dynasty, the growing stage. Some of my favorite Bronco games EVER are from the 1995 season. That was Shanny's first year, That was TD's first year, That was Eddie Macs first year and Rod was just starting to get some playing time, That was Nalen's first year as a starter.

That was the year Denver swept the Raiders after losing 11 out of 12 to them.

For the people that could see, That was the begining of the Bronco dynasty. For others like llama it was 1997 when they won the SB, by that time he had already missed so much.

We kind of sucked that year and I didn't care, because we swept the Raiders. Good times.

The target is somewhere over there, and you missed it by a mile. But good try though.

I'll enjoy this season just like I did last season and every other Bronco season I have embibed. I wont have to delude myself into believing things that arent even close to true to enjoy it. Just like last season, or the season before that, or my first season of Bronco football.

You guys have fun with all of that. I'll just have fun watching the games and appreciating them for what they are now.

Also, I want to point something out here. The Colts sometimes make me wonder what they are doing, especially Manning since he probably is the one audibling. But the Colts had 1st and 10 at the Titans 31 at the 2 minute warning. Titans had 2 timeouts remaining at this point. What do the Colts and Manning do? 1st and 10, incomplete pass. 2nd and 10, incomplete pass. 3rd and 10, Manning gets sacked at the 35. Titans call a timeout. Total time ran off the clock? 14 seconds. Imagine if the Colts would've just ran it 3 straight times, had the Titans use both timeouts, and on 3rd down run the clock all the way down. Probably would've been able to kick a field goal, and left the Titans with no timeouts, down by 6 and about a minute left in the game.
I mean, seriously, that has to drive Indy fans nuts.

When you consider that despite our obvious problems (including a few rookie errors by Cutler) we are still number one in total offense and number three in total defense (not to mention Travis being number one in rushing)

heck -- we must be doig something right. I agree! It will come!

ps: Our pass defense has allowed a grand total of 62 yards in two games -- which is a mind boggling stat. (Even if it was the Bills and Faders).

Regardless of what happens on the field this season the one thing that is definite is...the front office did an absolutely stellar job this off season.

They have given the team the best possible chance to succeed this year and into the future.

Consider:
Graham has been as good as advertised.
Acquiring the slot machine was a good job of assessing the extent of his injury.
Rice has shown he was worth the minimal risk he cost.
Jarvis has shown glimpses of being able to be more than a pass rush specialist and worthy of moving up to get him.
The early returns on Marcus appear to be worth the risk.
Bates has earned his paycheck through Week 2.
Warren was moved for a future pick and looks to be DL addition by subtraction.

and we haven't even seen the potential of Crowder yet.

The only off season move that hasn't paid off yet has been the O'Brien hiring.

If the Broncos don't make the playoffs...it won't be because of the front office.
