Is this LT's year to break off some 2K? How about LJ - I am sure the LJ holdout helped him rest up for the 2K campaign.

LT is having a rough start but I would take him on my team in a heart beat. It looks as though LT and LJ are both suffering from the fact that their teams don't have a lot of options outside of the running game.

Question: What in the heck happened to Deangelo Williams? Man, that guy was supposed to be the next big thing!
I am just guessing, but the panthers must not be using that guy correctly or sosomething. That just amazes me! What a waste of talent! I know they have Foster, but still they should be able to utilize this guy better. |

Selvin showed some amazing balance at the beginning of his long run yesterday... just pinballed through the crowd. He's the anti-Tatum.

Selvin is quite possibly our future starting RB. As soon as next year?

People can say what they want but we are dominating statistically over the NFL. That is something to be proud of and hopefully they can keep it up.
The scary part is, our offense is cutting through defenses right now and we haven't even come close to playing a perfect game.... its going to be an interesting year! |

It should be a fun year but the obvious great teams in the NFL are the Colts and Patriots. it'll be interesting to see if we can hang with them. SD obviously couldn't.

Henry isn't scoring any points. Henry needs to be a SERIOUS dog about getting seven points AND getting yards. I think he's doing great. The last time a Broncos running back cracked the top ten for any period of time was when Clinton Portis was here. Broncos are doing better on 3rd down but I think they have enough weapons to do better.
I think a lof of Henry's success comes from the OL doing their jobs. They are a rag tag bunch doing a lot with very little. They are always a suspect group in my eyes much like the DL is but it's still early. |

You should trade LT for Selvin. Seriously I wouldn't make any judgements this early in the season. LT has had a lot of slow starts(maybe not playing preseason or whatever) and had a couple big games and he is near the lead again.

Could someone tell me who Selvin is like, who does he compare to? I saw him just a bit in the pre-season.... |

When Ron Dayne is ahead of Tomlinson in both total yards and yards-per-carry, you know it's early in the season. And not surprisingly, Dayne is averaging a whopping 2.5 yards per run.

Once that TD number climbs a little I'll be thrilled. IMHO need to run more in the redzone. Shanny is getting a little too pass happy.

this is great and I love how we're dominating stats, but Henry also has the 3rd most carries/game on that list (just 0.5 carry/game back from the top). Avg is important too (which he also looks good on).

When I saw him looking like he was starting to fall, I said "oh crap, another 3 and out." And then boom, he's off to the races. "what the hell?" "YEAH!"

Well it was pretty obvious that he was going to lag behind somewhat because SD plays 3 excellent defenses to begin the season. LT has tended to start the season slow the past few years, too. What happened last year was that Rivers had some big games and the O line came together and started playing well. After that LT started getting 150+ 3TDs every week. The offense got in sync. That hasn't happened yet this year, but it hopefully will soon. Then you will see LT start playing like LT again.
