Did I miss a signing? Kind of stunned they didn't bring another OL in. It's not like two offensive linemen have never gone down in the same game. I guess Graham could play some tackle in a pinch. Thoughts?

I'm not sure what you are suggesting? Do we have OLmen out for this Sunday?

I guess Ryan Harris is coming back. Not that that should make anyone feel any better, but he's supposed to be fully recovered by the 26th.

I would say resign Chad Mustard, but his head might explode from the mind games.

It always bothers me to see Shanny going with next to no backups active in the O-line.

Yeah, when they let Mustard go I thought that meant they would be bringing someone else in. Harris practiced this week. Are they going to activate Eslinger or Fenton from the PS?

I have no idea. Oakland is a physical team, so I wouldn't feel great about not having any backups at all. I hope we trade Mike Bell soon. Something tells me this is all designed to keep him away from someone waiting for a cut.

For the life of me I can't see why people continue to think Mike Bell's going to be traded or cut anytime soon. Didn't Shanny give him a choice, play fullback and be happy or choose where you'd prefer to go?? I'd say Bell made the decision to stay.
As far as the o-line depth, not really. When was the last time two guys went down in the same game?? Denver has some guys with grit playing on the o-line and it's not like Jay is a statue. I'd rather have another guy available to play in the secondary with both Paymah and Foxworth still not 100% |

Kaylore already pointed it out, but if teams are interested in Bell, they may be waiting for Denver to cut him if they wait long enough. Meanwhile, Shanny is keeping him on the roster in hopes he gets an offer when someone becomes desperate enough.
Bell very well may have been ok with the move to FB in order to stay in Denver, but that doesn't mean that Shanny won't ship him out if he gets a decent offer for him. Business is busniess afterall. Or, he could not be shopping him at all. It's hard to say either way. |

Well, I'm not...just b/c him, holland, and Myers can play tackle and gaurd. Also, if Nails got hurt, he could go to gaurd and myers could go to center. I know it'd suck shuffling everybody around, but it'd work.

We'd probably use Leach as an emergency lineman if something was to happen and we needed that many guys.
It makes sense to me though, we need STs help, Kuper can play across the line, whats the chances we lose two OLs in one game? Then either Hamilton will be back or Harris will at least be more game ready, if not both. We aren't that bad off at OL, you just have to cut corners somewhere each week. This week its going to be at backup OL. |

Leach is a long snapper and wears a #83...I believe, so he can't. But I think w/the versatility on this line, we'll be fine.

Bell should be getting the SAPP'S carries. Running SAPP over BELL is wrong.

Daniel Graham could play either tackle spot in a pinch ... probably be pretty good too.
