24-10 Denver. I think Cutler will look a lot like last week, sparks of brillance, with some more growing pains. Henry will lead us to victory on the ground and our defense will continue to improve.

27-14 Denver. I think our secondary is going to keep Porter and Curry covered up most of the game leaving Daunte unable to get off the quick pass. This will hopefully give our D-line enough time to get pressure on him. Look for Simeon Rice to improve as he gets more practice in with the team this week. I think we will see a revolving door of DE's in this game going after Culpepper. Sam Adams and D.J Williams will lay the hammer on LaMont Jordon. Its going to be in the hands of the offense to score TD's. One more week together in game situations. Home field advantage, opening day against the Raiders! Oh yeah, its going to be a smack down!

I hope the enthusiasm displayed hereon is translated into reality. While I believe a Broncos' victory is highly probable, it is not a sure thing. What I want to see is a continued improvement in the D, and Cutler to find the TEs and Stokley and Marshall as well as Walker.

Mostly, I want the D to continue to improve, and the STs to show better. If we see improvement, then the game with the Jags will be the "quantum leap" game. That's where the D really begins to gel....

It should be a close, nasty game with a hated division rival, and plenty of drama all around. It would be nice to just beat the living snot out of them, kick them when they're down, yada, yada, yada, but that's probably not going to happen. I fully expect to be on the edge of my seat, chewing my fingernails, well past the point in tme when the game should have been decided. And yes, we could definitely lose this game.

31-13 Denver - with the D having one TD and setting up another.

They key to the game will be Lamont Jordan. He caught 9 passes last week vs the lions. If they are able to get him the ball that can be a problem with our open field tackling. They also had him running between the tackles for the most part. If we have to commit 7 or 8 to the box the could be trouble with the long ball. We will the game, that's just my 2 cents

Feels like a 27-13 kinda deal to me. Broncos winning, of course.

20-3 Denver. The D has a coming out party. Travis and Young get lots of junk yards in the four minute offense. Jay doesnt throw much, because he doesnt have to...maybe 15-20 passing attempts.

Ian Gold gets back on the good side of Broncos fans and coaches alike by owning Lamont Jordan all day. Jordan gets maybe 50 yards (all-purpose).

Culpepper makes Raiders coaches strongly consider putting in the rookie next week.

Hixon becomes comfortable returning punts (he'll get lots of practice this game) and has at least two returns over 40 yards.

Rod Smith wins the coin flip (what can I say, that guy is a winner).

24-10 Denver

I think the Fade do some surprising things early but quickly self-destruct as the Broncos get ahead and they can't catch up. Before long, the game is out of reach and It's over! (Strong Bad Voice)

27 - 12 - Broncos

Champ gets a pick.
Dumerville gets 2 sacks. (5 total sacks for the D)
A LB actually gets a pick - you heard it here first.

31-9 Broncos

I see us using trips all day. They've got one good CB and their safeties are suspect. They've got a stout D line so I'm not sure how are running game will be.

It's really going to be interesting to see what Shanahan does considering last game and all the shovel passes and QB options.

We should totaly dominate on both sides...AS LONG AS WE GET AVERAGE FIELD POSITION. I trust our D to keep them out of the end zone as long as they have plenty of field to work with.

But give them a short field where we have to stop a power running attack and I still don't trust our front seven in this.

As I said before last game. Our special teams really worry me. If we could just manage average coverage and punts I'd be happy.

Some good, some bad, our defense continues to improve and Champ has a pic, Rice gets a sack and our fans go crazy and run the Faider fans out of Denver

19-10 denver
elam 4/4 and henry has a one yard score. Cutler struggles a bit against a decent defense but scores enough to win. raiders are held to a fg only in the second half. they get an early rushing td from fargas who breaks a long one on third and long. denver is in nickle at the time and fails to takle. defense adjusts and dominates culpepper and jordon the rest of the game.

I am seeing a low scoring game. I expect this to be a pound it out game where both teams struggle a bit to move the ball. Later in the game the broncos put it together and get a few good drives in and win 20-13

27-13 Denver

3 TD's (2 rushing, 1 passing) for the Broncos. 2 for Elam.

Jordan gets 1 TD for the Raiders, 2 Fg's.

Travis Henry gets about 150 all purpose yards. The Passing TD is a long bomb off the play action to Walker (65-70 yards).

Al Davis soils his wheelchair...

My prediction:

If Denver can score more points than the Raiders, they will win.

BUT

If the Raiders have more points than Denver when the game is over, I gotta say the Raiders will win.

Either way, Al Davis is a giant fudgepacker.
