Keyshawn Johnson: MVP, DPOY, Champ Bailey - The Orange Mane

Keyshawn and ESPN Sunday count down crew just did their award predictions for the season. Keyshawn said because Dre' Bly is now playing on the other side that Champ Bailey will be the MVP!! Both Johnson and Tom Jackson predicted Champ to be DPOY as well.

Just for a little trivia fun I'll give a CP to whoever can tell me who was the last defensive player to be MVP, and when was the last time a corner did it.

Defensive player named MVP for the league? I think was LT with the Giants in like 1986, because I think Elway got it the next year but he was a linebacker, not sure I can ever remember a corner winning that award.

I think Moss will be mediocre this season. Nothing special. I think his hammy keeps him from top speed & sharp cuts.

I don't know how he can top last year.

But if he gets it, it will be one of greatest accomplishments imo.

LT was the last to do it in 86', a CB has never won MVP

and if Deion couldn't do it with all his flash & dash i'm skeptical Champ will be able to win it since he's never even won DPOY(got robbed now what 3 years in a row?)

oddly enough in 82' a Kicker won MVP lol

Considering he only got like 30 balls thrown at him last year, if Bly shows up and makes plays then Bailey will see more balls thrown his way. If there was a CB to get MVP it's definitely Champ.
