We all know how light our LB's are but I was surprised to learn that we have the lightest trio of starting linebackers in the league.
Denver's projected starting linebackers average a league-low 231 pounds. |

John Lynch and Ian Gold are virtually the same weight. I'm to the point that I'd rather see Lynch at LB over Gold. Lynch might not be a burner but he takes good angles, better decisions and not only makes big hits but knows how to wrap a guy up.

As long as they can tackle.
All linebackers really need to know how to do is tackle (aside from leaders like Wilson) in my personal opinion. Yea sure interceptions and run reading is good, but most of the time they're just not as important as tackling. |

exactly. I'm not a fan of Golds tackling abilities. Sure he can run people down. Usually from a bad angle... then do his best impression of a human speed bump.
