Ohh come on that was pretty funny. In all seriousness we did look pretty crappy out there. I am not sure what to think of this season. I was pretty unaware of all the off the field problems over the summer. I get back from China and it looks as though a few players found themselves in trouble. Hopefully, they get their **** together and have a good season, but something doesn't feel right about this team. I hope I am wrong but we will see.

Don't worry...In Mack's presser today, he and the players said everything is "fixable". All should be well come October.

Yea, I am not so sure. It seems like we have some young guys who are ready to step up and could possibly fix our problems, but he always leans to giving older players playing time. It's one of the things that really annoys me about Mack. We have played ****ty for 4 games straight. Starting with the loss to K-state. Something needs to change but they just don't seems to be taking it to teams they should. Loss to K-State, Loss to A&M, squeaker against 6-6 Iowa and then this past weekends game. They haven't displayed the toughness they displayed against blow U last year. Hopefully, they can find that again.

You guys look strong though. Hopefully, we can make it 3 in a row this year.

Something very strange I read in the Colorado Springs paper this AM. Paterson, the TCU coach, was quoted as saying that the Hornedfrogs were installing some packages for AFA next thursday. Seems to me all of the Frogs attention should be focused on UT during game week.

Here's the snippet from the Gazette

But Horned Frogs coach Gary Patterson said his team already has started preparing for its game against Air Force on Sept. 13.Patterson puts a premium on winning the conference, and the game against the Falcons will be the Horned Frogs’ MWC opener.

“They looked very explosive,” Patterson said of the Falcons’ season-opening victory. “So we’re going to have to, in a short period of time, get ready. So it’s better to start early than late.”

Calhoun said the Falcons will spend no time preparing for TCU this week.

Wow, that is interesting. I may just have to forward that for some bulletin board material.

nervous at half time, but our D looked good all game. Hopefully, the team that showed up the second half will be the team that plays for the rest of the season
