I didn't get to watch it, I got the lovely Michigan state game where MSU was up 45-3 at halftime when I left. Kinda glad I missed it though, I guess. I get tired of folks always yelling about how overhyped the Big Ten is and then Michigan goes out and flops against USC last year and opens like this...

All I can say is that the D is definitely missing all those guys that left last year. Starters left from every level, Dline, LBs, and DBs... and it showed, apparently.

I like Lloyd Carr but this is getting old... Freakin' Charles Woodson was winning the Heisman the last time they won a national championship... last year they could've argued for it but they came out like a bunch of pansies against USC. There's no reason they shouldn't be competitive each and every year, they have loads of talent yet they seem to be disappointing more often then they're impressing.

That was funny because the School of Mines beat Montana State that year so you could argue that CU had the worst football team in the state in '06.
