"To me, playbooks are like going to a Chinese restaurant," Chiefs coach Herm Edwards said. "It's a big menu. OK, what do you like, do you like poultry, do you like fish, do you like meat? We have all these things in this book which you need to have, but at the end, this is what we are."

"You couldn't run all the things you have in the playbook. You've got no shot."

I often wondered if Herm is among the top 1000 head-coaches in the nation.

Wow, what a joke. There are high school offensive schemes that are more complicated. Way to go chiefs.

If you watched the show, each of the positions had different sized playbooks. I'm not debating that Herm runs a rather vanilla scheme, but you're clearly mistaken in thinking that's the entire playbook. Not to mention most NFL teams put in at least 20-30 plays each week to add new wrinkles to their Off and D.

But whatever, its all DOOM and GLOOM for KC!!!1111122222!!!!!

I didn't know there were that many pages needed for:

HB Handoff right, left, between tackles

Or

5 yard Curl to TE, 5 yard curl to slot WR, 5 yard slant to TE, HB Flat pass.
