Default Wish Good Vibes for Floyd Little This Week!

Once again "The Franchise" is up for the Hall of Fame Seniors Committee nomination this week. The 9-member committee will nominate 2 Seniors players (retired 25 years or more).

Floyd is a finalist (again). Let's send him some good vibes this week!

Somehow, someway let's hope the committee finally does the right thing...

I never had the pleasure of seeing him play myself but his numbers and reputation speak for themselves. Put him in already!

I saw Floyd play throughout his career. The only thing that has kept him from
being in the G.O.A.T. controversy is the pathetic offensive line that never got
better until after he was long gone.

Little was a truly amazing running back, whom even his peers considered the
best in football in his time. That opinion was held by the likes of Larry Csonka
and Jim Kiick.

That he is not already in the HOF is a crying injustice. Let's hope they rectify
that this time.

He's still The Man to me....I'm not going back to that sham of a HOF until he gets in!

Here's hoping they do the right thing by one of the all time good guys.

I started watching the History of the Broncos DVD to get ready for the season and they showed a few clips of Little. Let's hope the HOF recognizes the man...

Good Vibes sent, but I dont have a lot of respect or faith in the idiots that control the HOF.

I hope he gets in but in the final analysis we know he belongs there so regardless of what these morons do who vote, it doesn't change how great a player he was.

Well said. He's going up against a backlog of great players and a lot of east-coast bias and anti-denver bias.

Still, is there a seniors candidate out there who meant more to their team than Floyd.

Think not.

We, who seen you play Floyd, know just how great of player you were and how important you were to the Denver Broncos.

The HOF is basically a joke as having only one Denver Bronco enshrined in their 47 year history clearly shows.

Ever since Gene Mingo took the first handoff from Frank Tripucka on September
9, 1960, I have seen every starting running back the Broncos, and every other
team, has had. I have never seen a better RB than Floyd Little . . . maybe a
couple as good, but none better in that period of time.

He should have already been in the HOF, awaiting the induction of Randy
Gradishar, then John Elway. I may turn blue, but I am holding my breath.

I know this is my second post here, but that is how strongly I feel about it.

Do the right thing guys.

Floyd exemplifies everything that the Hall purports to be about.

I feel bad for any Bronco fan..or NFL fan for that matter, who didn't get a chance to see him run.

Let us just say he went to the same college as Jim Brown and that might get him brownie points. I think TB has as many HOFers as us. I still cant believe Gary Zimmerman, two time decades player of the year, is still waiting. Good Luck Little. I know Hogan is rooting for this one so he can have another road trip next year.

Not only attended the same school as Jim Brown (and Ernie Davis and Larry
Csonka), but also broke most of Brown's records there.

For those unfortunate enough never to have seen Little in action, here is some
information on him: http://dim.com/~jbettin/floyd/

Be sure also to click on the link to the lower left, "Little's profile in 'Little Men of
the NFL,' " that will reveal a bit more about him.
