Default Walker out tonight becasue of knee

Just heard on KOA that Walker is not playing tonight due to knee tweak during scrimmage. I am slightly concerned.

It's still preseason. I'm not worried about it.

As long as everyone keeps in mind it's a preseason game.

Because, with so many out, we may get our helmets handed to us . . .

If it was serious we would know. Shanny is just playing it safe and being smart by resting him.

well this will give Marshall and the rest of the receiving corps plenty of looks. Walker has looked awesome during camp and BMarsh missed all that time. It's smart to give the other guys the reps anyway.

Well it's the knee he had surgery on so that makes it a bit more of a concern. Being banged up isn't always a bad thing though it makes you mean and tough come the season. Let's just hope he doesn't miss too much time.

I would look at it as precautionary. The MRI was negative and they think its just scar tissue. He has had a great camp, no need to put extra strain on it.

Remember when Champ was out the entire preseason in 2005? Yeah, he came out to have an incredible year, although he did miss some time that year.
I wouldn't get caught up in injuries at this point unless they are a tear or torn something.

dude cartilage is a bad injury. I think what you meant is it was only scar tissue breaking away. If he tore cartilage that would be a really bad thing.
