How is it for Wii? I havent bought a copy for a few years and am thinking about giving this years a shot on wii. Reviews I have read have been mixed.

Well, currently online kinda sucks for it, to my dismay. Very laggy, has some bugs. But the game itself, franchise, etc is sweet I think. I liked 2007, and I think the controls have gotten better.

Thats what you wiitards get for buying a game and expecting great online play for a wii.

If you wanted online play, you should have got the xbox 360. If you want to make jackoff motions while playing a game, then you get a wii.

I have a question for you guys. I just got it for the 360 and I hate the playbook setup, if you play 2 players you can see the exact play your opponent is picking.
It's just dumb.

Is it like that on playstation? Is their anyway to change the setting so its like it was on ps2 last year?

I love the return of the fantasy draft on my 360elite. Draft 4 best OL, then Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush and Jay Cutler. Fantastic stuff!

When you pick a play, hold the button and keep scrolling through the playbook as if you haven't picked it yet

then stop on another play....but the original play that you picked while holding the button will be picked

don't know if i explained that well

Haha yah, I had just figured it out before I saw this. Gonna take some time to get used to that. Thanks anyways.
I was also pissed that I couldn't see my play pre snap by holding R trigger and then I actually looked at the top right of the screen, oh up press up haha.

Wii-Elduderino

I put a popknot on some random joker last night. I got so used to the 2007 control scheme I was having fits with this new setup. I still haven't figured out hot routes yet, once I do everyone can just go ahead, pack up their Madden 08 and move on to the next game.
