Default Ticket Info

On Sept 23 I will have my first opportunity to once again watch the Broncos at home since I saw them beat Oakland on Jan. 1, 1978 (Got into an animated discussion with Jack Tatum at the airport about whether Lytle fumbled or not. My wife intiminated him and he backed down. ) My grandfather had 12 season tickets on the 50 yard line 30 rows up from 1962-1967 and when he died they passed out of the family.

I will be with my son and wife and any advice for this 47-year fan of the Broncos on what is the best way to get tickets would be much appreciated.
TIA

Got a savings account? Prepare to liquidate it for 500 level seats.....the beer showers are totally complimentary up there though....no extra charge.

The description of the Tailgate Forum does not indicate that it contains ticket information. Reading through it just now I found nothing that addressed the question I have. To answer your sarcasm-tinged question, "Yes, people do read the tailgate forum."

I am expecting to spend more than I did in 1978. The cost of the 3 seats will probably equal what my granddad spent for 12 season tickets in 1962. I have looked on the internet and have a feel for what the scalpers are charging. I did not know if any Maners knew of a good site.

Beer showers I can handle, even contribute too. Will I have to watch out for golden showers.

Candy hasn't exactly been up to her usual standard this year either.....for the Raider game anyways.

The prices are unreal this time around for some reason....can't really figure out why unless it's the DWill & Nash tributes that's pushing it skywards. I know it being the Home Opener means nothing (made the last two years with no problems at all, very affordable as well) and the Raiders are no big thing....it really doesn't make a lot of sense.

Don't get me wrong...I'm all for getting into the game. What I'm not into is wearing some drunken slobs beer because he's into the game like no one else is around him. I tend to have a little bit of a problem with that.

It's also TD's ROF induction. Agreed on drunken slobs.

No offense...but there have been 3 ticket threads...at least on the main page at one time or another lately...and people do talk tickets in the tailgate forum...one stickied at the top.
...we're just a little sick about prices this year and the fact that we don't have our tickets in hand yet with one month to go!...Last couple of years, we've had them to us within the week....

This is true.....and we're pretty much stuck with whatever we get pricewise because we've already paid for flights and whatnot. What it is doing is pricing us out and making next year very doubtful for us catching a home game if the current going rate becomes the new norm.

Hopefully, they'll be a bit more reasonable for you then in terms of cost. I'm beginning to feel like we've made a mistake targeting the Raiders game.

I've actually found some pretty decent priced tickets on Ebay. At least for 500 level. Some are going for $75 a seat...some less some more. I, personally, am willing to spend a little more for lower level. I saw some go on ebay for about $175 for lower level the other day...in the south stands. Also, Broncocalijohn, an OM member, says he's got tickets in southstands for all games except Raider game for sale. Hit him up and see what he's asking for those seats.

Don't bother. Her contact info has been posted openly on the board sooo much that it's driven up her demand and her prices....she's not much different than the rest of them now as a result. She's what the druggies call "burned down".

Time to find someone else.

Saw some lowers on ebay going for about $175. Keep your eyes out...decent prices are out there.

Also saw some uppers for about $75. There are tons of tickets out there and if you just wait, i bet the prices will come down.

But, hey, I'm now only looking for a single ticket, that's the best place to be in!! Those are the cheapest!!
