now it may seem weird living in a world w/ freedom of religion how can getting a paper professing ur religion matter? but u have to remember islam enshrines racist policies against non-muslims as well as harsh punishments against anyone who is suppose to be muslim but isn't. so this effectively denies her the right to practice her religion. also its common for children to be taken away by the state if the parent raises the children in the incorrect religion.
