Wish i would have jumped on the presale tickets. Either way, though, great tickets can be had for relatively decent prices.

Coming in from Madison, Wisconsin for this one. Would love to meet up with an OM tailgate.

I wouldn't take anyone seriously once they call the Broncos the "Donkeys". I don't know one Broncos fan that thinks this is acceptable...except you.

Exactly. That's why I surmised he was a Rams fan (besides taking note of his home location). Chiefs fans call the Broncos "donkeys". It's a negative term...

Literal language crowd getting their panties in a bunch? Never used an ironic term of endearment? Y'all should get out more.

I grew up in Golden, first book I checked out from the Mitchell Elementary school library was a bio of Floyd Little. Suffered through SB XII as Craig Morten padded his retirement account, listened to SB XXI from a Navy ship north of the Aleutian Islands and lost a chunk of my retirement account, got up at 0200 in the Philippines to watch SB XXII and the words "no team has ever lost a SB after leading by 10 points" still haunt me, watching Monday Night Football at the Guantanamo Bay O Club and seeing Eric Dickerson run wild still frosts me, SB XXIV was a painful blur and SB XLVIII indoctrinated my 12 and 24 year old, St.Louis born and raised daughters (both orange and blue to the core) into true Donkey fandom.

Just a typical Rams fan.

Mix in the odd

^^^ Loves Broncos so much, he calls them Donkeys.

The term of endearment would be Broncos. I would expect even Oakland Raiders fans to not call their team the Chokeland Faiders even though they fit the name.

In his defense, I grew up with a lot of Broncos fans in and around Denver and a lot of people who were wearing orange and blue in the 80s and early 90s would call our beloved team the Donkeys. In fact, I think its been debated on this very forum several years ago whether or not it was acceptable as both a term of endearment and as a way to steal the insult.

Anyone know of any tix for sale for the Rams/Broncos game? I am for sure going to that game. I was banking that I would score player tickets for that game but I would like to seal the deal and have some wrapped up. Looking for 3 or 4.

I'm trying to find a thread, but I can't find one. We probably DID debate it, but I can't find the discussion. It might be time to revisit that discussion...

Oh yeah, I remember it! I called out someone for calling our team the Donks or something and I got blasted by several regulars for being a prude or some such thing!

Just Broncos? That's it? Off the Island for any deviance from your orthodoxy? Your term of endearment fascism and left coast expectations leave me unmoved.

You will have to pry the word "Donkey" from my cold dead lips...
