Default New Sports Radio Station In Denver 1510 AM!!!!!!!

http://www.denverpost.com/ostrow/ci_6368140

I was a big fan of Tim Neverett and Jim Armstriong's show that was on for years here in Denver on ESPN 1600. I ran into Tim this morning over at Dove Valley and was glad to see he has a new radio gig! Check him out on your dial from 6-9 Monday-Friday 1510am Mile High Sports Radio.

I agree - have listened the last couple of days. Wish he had Armstrong as his partner. He knows more about college ball than any other Radio/TV guy in town.

I have been listening in the mornings while doing my workout routine. Much better sports info than all of the BS on 950.

My God!! I couldn't possibly agree more. If I wanted to listen to 2 incoherent know-nothings babble on and on about the "good 'ole days" I would go to an old folks home and ask them about sports in Denver around the turn of LAST century - that is their only area of expertise and seemingly their only interest. And the incessant references to people I have never heard of and couldn't give a rip about just tears me to shreds . . . . I would rather listen to Jim Rome say the same thing in the 15th different way over the last hour than listen to those 2 drool on the microphone.

If you are gonna talk history, talk about history someone cares about . . . like the Bronco greats and memories from their glory days in the late 70s or the days when they were first getting started! NOT about who was the 3A basketball scoring champ in 1968 and later became principal of some school in Arvada only to leave and start his own used car business where they would make really good coffee and give out free donuts and where Irv once saw the 2A girls shot put champion buying a Nissan Sentra for her 16 year old daughter who is now working in the Jewelry department at Macy's! I could give a CRAP! OK. I feel better now, you may all continue on with your day.

No ****. It should be in their contact that they can't talk about anything that happened more than 10 years ago. I just don't care that Irv can remember stats from '40's baseball players, or that Joe's a whiz with turn-of-the-previous-century trivia.

Look at Disco's original post.....the show in question only runs from 6-9 (AM or PM isn't specified). That's why it's not on now.

Thanks Disco. Hope they get things straigtened out.

I did have it on at 6:45 and 8:30 this morning and got the hillbillies. Also they have been running Sporting News Radio during other time slots, but not at 10:00 this AM.

He's going to be doing some of the big high school games for Fox Sports in addition to his college ball duties.

I have known Tim Neverett since his days calling Las Vegas Thunder (Minor League hockey)about 10 plus years ago. Knowing Tim, his dream job is to call NHL games one day. I think he is great for Denver sport fans.

I like him because he is the only sports guy in town that really follows college ball. Joe Williams follows the Big 12 some, but not like he used to.

Joe should just stick with College football....he doesn't know jack **** about the NFL and the NHL let alone the two pro-teams in his own back yard.
