Default Summer Music Festivals

We are heading off to southern Virginia this weekend and just off the Blueridge Parkway is a small artsy town of Floyd. We are headed to the sixth annual Floyd Music Festival. This will be my third visit to Floyd Fest and our second trip the past two years. Good music of all types and the scenery is just beautiful.

Check out the site.

Not quite the same typse of music but I just got back from Rocklahoma. It was a huge 80's rock concert with bands I grew up on. The event drew over 100,000 people for 3 days. To me, it was an awesome time seeing the bands I saw over 20 years ago. They still had the energy, and the vocals were still good. I was amazed and had a great time. Over 30 bands from the 80's hair band days. Some of the bigger names were Twisted Sister, Dokken, Ratt, Slaughter, Jackyl, Queensryche, LA Guns, Vince Neil, Quiet Riot, White Lion,
Great White, Skid Row, Winger, Warrant, and a few more. I got some really good pics. I'll post some if it doesn't interfere with your thread. Just thought I would ask first. Don't want to overtake your thread with a bunch of pics.

Post all the pics you wish I would be interested in seeing them myself.

I was hoping others would share their music festivals so maybe I could put it on my list next year. I will post some of my pics when I return.
