I found it very entertaining.
I also came to the realization that Hilliary is going to be the next President. She was great. My guy is Joe Biden. He was very strong too I thought but he just doesn't seem to have the following. I also thought it was great when that guy with the machine gun asked the gun control question... that was just a little scarey! ![]() |

I'm usually a little more on the conservative side, but I was actually impressed with Hillary (who I really can't stand), Obama and Biden. Should make for an interesting race.

There's no good reason to have presidential debates this early. Oh wait...I can think of one...

And how about Rupert Murdoch raising money for Clinton? Wall Steet is aligning itself now with potential candidates and Clinton is getting a lot of that money. Looks like corporate America is thinking she will be the next president.

Obama proved himself to be the worst from what I saw. He basically said he would open the doors to terrorist nations.

I thought Obama does like always does. Nothing really spectacular. At first I was on Obama's bandwagon, Now I think Biden will be the best President but I must admit it's Hillary's to lose. Did you notice the far away shots of the canidates? They were all wearing dark blue suits except for Hillary's peach colored suit. She stood out in every way. |

I'm suprised, but every poll I've seen has Obama winning that debate.
Personally, I'm voting for Ron Paul or bust. |

Obama will probably continue to win debates because he's incredibly articulate and passionate. While I love his ideas to talk with other nations, which is a departure from the Bush administration, he has to be careful because he will be criticized for not being political saavy. Whatever though.
I dont like how it takes Hillary days to answer simple questions. She has little conviction, very much unlike her husband. I actually think Obama is reminiscent of Bill Clinton in 92. A fresh, younger voice, promising a completely new (democratic) vision...which i believe this country sorely needs. Get ready for those taxes uper 1 percent! Sorry, Biden is an old fart. He ain't goin anywhere |

i actually like Edwards too (this time around). He kind of lost some of that idealistic bull**** from the first time. He's very politically similar to Obama though. Which is fine with me

The September one will entertain me more, when we get to hear more common sense answers from Fred Thompson.

It almost appears Thompson feels the field of Republican candidates is so weak that he can win the nomination just by showing up. After reading this website, he doesnt really indicate what plans or ideas he has. Just gives his bio and asks for donations. IMO just looks like a bunch of fluff. |

I don't know why you would if you don't want her president. She's leading all Republican candidates headon and independent voters are going to vote Democrat after the Bush fiasco of the last 8 years. Last edited by Bronco_Beerslug; 07-24-2007 at 03:51 PM.. |

I think the Democrats will shoot themselves in the foot and give the nomination to Hillary. That's about the only way I see the Republican base getting energized: uniting behind a candidate, any candidate, to beat Hillary.
