Default Random Tailgate Talk......Just a thread to BS on about Tailgating

I was just doing some surfing around some tailgate sites and I came across this unit.

Pretty slick eh?http://www.texantailgaters.com/greatmate.htm Seems to have alot of features in one compact unit. Anyhow I figure we need a thread to discuss the "Art of tailgating"

If you see any cool tailgating stuff out there on the net post it here. Or if you have a special recipe you'd like to contribute to the Mane please do so. We'll try to use as many of them as we can this year! Desmond will be heading up the grill once again along with volunteers that love to cook it up!

BroncoBum has graciously volunteered yet again to put a few hours behind the smoke for the KC Tailgate! Bum flat out killed it during the Canton tailgate.

I'm also looking for suggestions of what we can cook from week to week to coincide with the schedule.

If you have any comments or ideas regarding tailgating in general post it here.

Oh I'm also looking for Broncos fans who are willing to head up operations in other cities this year. When I say that there are many ways to help out. From simply helping with logistics of where to park to providing a BBQ, coolers etc. I can't thank the fellas on the ground in Canton who helped with the basic supplies of a grill, garbabe cans etc. It really did help out having that local connection.

I'm making the final push to get the Bus done soon and will have more details on which cities she'll be traveling to. As you all know by now you are all welcome to the Mane Tailgate @ Mile High this season. We will be waiting for you every home game. Let me rephrase that. You are all encouraged to come to Denver this year and become apart of the 12th man. We need more die hard fans like you guys to fill our stadium. It doesn't matter whether you have 15,000 posts or 15 posts a die hard Broncos fan is a die hard Broncos fan. Anyone that is willing to post on these boards all year and talk Broncos football is a die hard fan. Period.

You guys may recall that Rod Smith actually asked the fans of Mile High to be loud for the Chiefs game last year. Now I don't know about you guys but I can't believe he actually had to ask. Now some say that the crowd doesn't matter. I say BS. When a guy like Rod Smith asks us Broncos fans to jump our only response shoud be (((((HOW HIGH)))))). I took Rod's words to heart and I hope you guys do to.

If there are those of you who want to come to a game and think you can't get tickets you need to send me a pm. Infact I was on ticketmaster.com today and there are still single 1/2 priced seats available. You won't find any pairs left but you can still get in the game. A seat in MH is a seat in MH. You can make a helluva lot of noise from any of them!!!!

Here is to good times this season!!!!!!

Thanks in advance! I look forward to meeting more of you this season!

1......2.......3......GO BRONCOS!!!!!

Just make sure the vegetarian has plenty of meat to throw on the grill or we will throw him on it. Have you poked him for tenderness? Never mind, I bet he's all stringy....

Right on CBF1. Where are the Omaners I talked to who live in Florida who I met in Canton? Couple fellas said they could head up an OMANE tailgate out there. Hey Tribbey you are in Florida aren't you?

LMAO Mock. That whole story is just ironic. What Mockss referring to is one of my crew members for the Bus. The guy in charge of BBQ install is a vegan. Not only that he only eats raw. He won't put anything in his mouth that has been cooked at all. I don't get it. Good guy but I never seen anyone just scarf raw fish like this guy.

We have the NO game squared away don't we Alec? Aren't we gathering at some roof top party house there if I remember right?

As I mentioned in Canton, my daughter (Anne) and her friend (Kathleen) use my tickets for most of the games. They are both attractive (maybe a little prejudice there from dad) and will look good at your tailgate. My daughter is visiting us here in Annapolis as we speak and has seen all your photos from Canton as well as photos of your bus so she knows who/what to look for.

I told her to introduce themselves to you and contribute to your cash kitty. They are both live wires and loudly enthusiastic fans that I can't keep up with (decrease in stadium sound level is obvious when my wife and I attend rather than the girls).

Anyway, they should be value added to your festivities. They won't be at the preseason games but will show up for KC.

I know how you feel, I'm the same way...I've gone to great lengths not to hassle Alec about tickets or Worm about preperations too much as a result....I don't wanna come off as a bother or sour anything they might be trying to do for the group by being too impatient or pushy.

I'm sure things will align alright.....and if they shouldn't, there'll be more than a few alternatives at our disposal, no worries...trust me Meck, you'll love that city..it is expensive though...and you might wanna stay an extra day or so to check it out, take some tours etc. It'll be well worth it IMO.

Sounds great Tom G! We look forward to meeting your daughter and her friend!

Thanks for offering to help out with Cincy Mediator! I'm sure the folks in Ohio just can't wait to see more Broncos fans in their state again. As the time get's closer we'll have to make a plan. Quiet a few Ohio maners out there.

I know we have Florida Broncos fans Denver 78. They'll surface in due time.

We'll see you on 9/12 Orange Crusher!

You know it has come to my attention that there is a tailgate brewing for the John Elway flag football game this friday night. I'm not 100% sure that I will be able to make it yet because I'm trying to get some things done and fly back to Tucson but the Disco man and a few others are planning on a shin dig before the game.

Anybody know about the parking situation for the game? Are they running cash lots around the stadium? Disco said he is planning on getting there early but he has to check into the parking situation.

Anyway just wanted to open the discussion up if anyone was planning on going.

Yes, she's single and an MD practicing in Aspen. But you better be a damned good skier to get her attention.

Mr. G with all do respect sir. Are you trying to cause a mob scene at the orangemane tailgate for the KC game. So you mean to tell me we are hosting a single, beautiful, intelligent, doctor, die hard female Broncos fan from Aspen who loves to ski and tailgate? I'm going to have to put up a chain link fence around the bus just to keep the traffic under control!

Mr. G I hot to hand it to you. It sounds like you and your wife did a spectacular job raising a Broncos fan.
