Right now Hillary has the polls, the money, and the momentum. It's Hillary's to lose and so far she hasn't done anything to lose it.

The latest Zogby poll has HR Clinton beating all GOP contenders:

Rudy Giuliani 41%
Hillary Clinton 47%

Fred Thompson 41%
Hillary Clinton 48%

Mitt Romney 38%
Hillary Clinton 48%

John McCain 43%
Hillary Clinton 45%

And in the Zogby Democratic primary poll HR Clinton is ahead of Barack Obama

Hillary Clinton 37%
Barack Obama 25%

Christopher Dodd 1%
Dennis Kucinich 1%

I guessed Clinton, and I honestly don't know who I would vote for at this point. I am sure that anyone that promotes more socialist ideals and tax increases would not get my vote.

I probably should have included Al Gore, Newt Gingrich and maybe Bloomberg but Ron Paul stands no chance of winning the presidency, no matter what your opinion of him is... He's not going to win the Republican nomination and if he ran as an independent there's no way he'd beat both the Republican and Democrat candidates.

Remember this isn't who you want to win, it's who you think will win.

That's a smart vote. Considering how irrational the current President is:

- "I see progress"

- "War is hard work"

- "We've got to stay the course" x 1000

- "Stay the course was never the strategy" x 100

- "I talked to god, and god told me to invade Iraq"

- "Sometimes money trumps peace"

- "I made it very clear to the Congress that the use of federal money, taxpayers' money to promote science which destroys life in order to save life is - I'm against that. And therefore, if the bill does that, I will veto it"

Now you'd vote for someone who thinks that people moved from Iraq in tribes all the way to South America, even though the church founded by it's racist sicko leader disproved that myth entirely!!

I agree that Paul is a longshot. I just don't see the harm in including as many candidates as possible in your poll.

I'm not sure what Bush has to do with any of this?

Yes, I know.. you hate mormons. Mitt gets my vote because he has a damn good record in the private, public, and volunteer sector. And after watching the debates, Mitt is very sharp and seems to have a firm grasp on what is happening in the ME. I don't care about his religious preference.
