Now it comes to see whether Goodell will continue his punishing despite conviction. There's been enough bad publicity from the Vick thing that if any of the incidents should be prosecuted minus conviction, this one can.

Anyone care to guess how many games he gets?

Its going to be interesting how Goodell is going to handle this. Michael Vick is a Superstar. Tank and Packman while stars are not nearly on the level of Vick with all his commercials and endorsements. His punishment if any will be interesting.

Michael Vick's offseason nightmare just added a new chapter. The star quarterback has been indicted on two felony counts related to dogfighting at his Virginia home.

Federal authorities have had their eye on Vick for weeks, searching his home thoroughly, discovering dog fighting paraphernalia and dog carcasses that Vick says he was unaware of.

I don't think there is any question that Goodell will come down incredibly hard on Michael Vick. This is a gambling operation that he's being indicted for.

Yeah, Goodell hasn't cared about a conviction before so Vick should be getting a call. It's hard to say how many games. Pacman had the history of problems despite a conviction in the strip club shooting, so that's how that was justified.

Tank was convicted and did some time, so that was justified.

Vick doesn't have much of a track record just the secret water bottle at the airport that ended up not amounting to anything. So, if Goodell suspends and Vick is eventually found not guilty, the players' union will jump all over it. If he doesn't then they'll be saying he's giving Vick special treatment. I don't know what I'd do.
