it's true.... San Diego can't have any other expectations then a Super Bowl win. Not something you usually see in a team with a complete overhaul of the coaching staff leadership. They have all the ingredients (except a head coach with a pedigree for anything other then futility as a head coach). So, it will be interesting to see how they handle the pressure.

Unless they go undefeated (not going to happen) then I think things start to head down hill after they lose their first game. Probably week 5 in Denver to the undefeated Denver Broncos who will have just come off a major upset (according to everyone else) of the defending SB champs.

If they lose in the playoffs are they going to blame Marty again? If they lose in the playoffs are they going to fire Norv??

I hope the Chargers give Norv a lifetime contract. This guy will not take ANY team to the promised land. He's just not head coach material, but teams inexplicably keep giving him chances...

You'd think the Chargers would be happy with a playoff win. It would be an improvement from last year.
