Default Honest Question Bronco Fans..

Do you honestly believe that Jay Cutler will take you guys into Arrowhead and beat KC(Cutler has never played at Arrowhead before), win 11 games, and make the playoffs this season?

Jay Cutler looks like he can be a good QB, but I think this is asking too much of him in his second year

Yes on all counts except maybe the beating the Chiefs at Arrowhead. I don't know what the deal is with that place...

You should just worry about Brandy Frayle and whether he can stay on the field for more than a game or two without getting an owie.

Well it is one of the toughest/loudest places to win at and we play extra hard against division rivals so ya
Invesco seems to be KC's kryptonite. We always play bad there, except last year. Thought we should have won that one

As far as I am concerned...beating KC in KC is what we have to do to be considered a contender.

Never tried either. What do you season them with? My fav. grillin veggys are zucchini, squash, and corn.

Brodie's injuries were all freak accidents(like Jason White at OU). He was never hurt by a defender

You have to marinate them in some olive oil to soften them up a little. As for seasoning, the Asparagus doesn't need anything! You won't believe how different it tastes off the grill. Takes on the smoky flavor, big-time. I actually don't like boiled Asparagus and LOVE it grilled. It's that different.

Here's a recipe for the mushrooms I found on google. Pretty simple...

INGREDIENTS:
12 large portobello mushrooms
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, smashed and minced
black pepper
PREPARATION:
Wash mushrooms; remove stems and set mushrooms aside. Melt the butter, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic & pepper together in a small pot or on the grill. Halve largest mushrooms or cut in strips. Brush the mushrooms generously with the melted butter and olive oil mixture. On a covered grill over medium coals, grill the portobello mushrooms stem-side down for about 8 minutes. Turn and grill the tops of the portobello mushrooms for 6 to 8 minutes longer. The grilled portobello mushrooms should be tender and nicely browned.

Yeah, but I mean, we play well in other loud places...There's just something about Arrowhead.

We can be a contender without beating you there, though. We did it in '05.

I think this will have been the best opportunity to beat the Chiefs in KC in over the past 5 years. I feel pretty good about Jay, our team versus the weaknesses of the Chiefs team.

It will be a tough place to play but Jay will have a chance. Is it going to be any harder to win in KC than it was in the Swamp, Knoxville or Athens?

The Chiefs will literally come unhinged if the Broncos did that. This is like a wooden stake in this vampire heart.

I want the Broncos defense to score 10 points. I want Herm to switch QB because his starter is getting his helmer cork screwed off his head. I want John Lynch to knock LJ into an ESPN highlight where he has to explain how Lynch got the drop on him. I want the DEFENSE to lead the charge. I want Cutler to chew up the clock on what appears to be a boring game and then with 5 minutes in the fourth hit old and tired Rod Smith for 80 yard put away touchdown. I want them to take Narrowhead from these guys so that ten years later they are still saying ****^%)(*$!!!! over the game.

Ya it does..he can take the hits. Laron Landry always broke through the line and got the best of Brodie because nobody protected him.

Say what you want but it's not easy getting up from hits like that or even holding onto the football. KC has a way better line than Bama so hopefully we can protect him back there..

I prefer eggplant as a veggie on the grill. It and those really humongous mushrooms make a decent veggie burger. Plus if you eat too much, it cleans you out.

My biggest complaint about Denver is they never put the Chiefs away. They let them linger around and sometimes sneak back in the game. Broncos have the schedule, fire power and plan to actually make the playoffs this year but if they make letting teams linger around they essentially aren't doing much.

Interestingly enough, Brodie's upside is approximately equal to that of Jason White's.

What type steak did you use for the kabobs? Im pretty sure most use sirloins and checkin to see if any other steak holds up and is easy to use. And Ben I am going to get an egg plant tonight and try that out.
