You can't reason with Muslims. They are so full of hate that no amount of dialouge will ever solve the Jewish/Palestinian issue. Let's face it a huge huge war is inivitable. Russia/China/USA/France/Britain all know it and basically just position themselves according to financial interests. The longer the big powers can stall an all out war the better it is for business. But I feel they all know at some point the Palestinaians and Hezzbollah will push Israel too far and the response will be heavy handed to the point of an all out bombing campaigne.

Hamas and "all Muslims" aren't the same thing. That would be like watching David Koresh and saying "Christians are crazy" (Though the religion haters on this site make that point all the time). My point is that Hamas is a horrible organization and most of their propaganda is less about religion and mostly about politics and hating on Israel.

True, my good sir. But the crazy thing about Islam is that any moderates who critisize crap like this are just itching to be snuffed out. Hence, there really is no where for "progress" to be made by Islamic moderates because the extremists have no problem wasting the moderates.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Islam needs what Christianity had back in the time of Martin Luther--a reformation. Martin Luther pulled the Christian faith out of the depravity of the religious extreme (corrupt in many ways). This is what Islam needs, but I doubt you'll ever see this. Moderate Islamic people, IMO, are too scared to stand up for themselves.

The majority of what Christianity does today is positive. Compared to the inquisition, the crusades, the selling of indulgences and other such abuses of power in God's name, I'd say Tombstone made a good point.

But the Palestinian cause should never be lumped in with fanatic animals like al Quaeda. The Palestinian cause is a worthy one ... they have been brutally victimized for decades. Yes, Hamas is a terrorist organization and should be wiped out, but it sprung from Palestinian people that have been wrongly oppressed.

You're wrong. If they are victims it's of their own hatred. Palestinians are an invented ethnic group of Muslims that lived in that area. The word Palestine isn't even native to that region and is not rooted to any historical nation or peoples. It's a Roman word that outlined the district of the area. When Israel was created, it was Palestine that invaded Israel. Israel took everything but let them have it back anyway after the war ended.

Israel is the only Democratic country in the region. Muslims that are citizens in Israel can vote and participate in the governments in the country. Palestinians on the other hand have let terrorists like Hamas run their own "nation" and embrace what they believe. TV shows like this are common their. Suicide bombers are believed to be pop icons to them. Do you read about Israeli children being taught that Palestinians put blood of their enemies on their cookies? Nope. Palestinians teach this about Israeli's all the time, though. Also consider they regularly target defenseless civilians. Israel's hands aren't clean either, but they ordered cease fires and offered numerous times to cede the land back only to be greeted with more war. Most Israeli's when asked are ok with the idea of a Palestinian state existing if it meant more peace. On the other hand most Palestinians don't want just want their land back: They want Israel destroyed. Hamas has promised as much on their main website. They won't stop attacking Israel until it's destroyed and country's like Iran are doing their best to encourage that.
