I'm totally stoked! The guys over at THE AUDIBLE called and asked to chat with me about the Broncos -- for a fan's perspective. Of couse, I can't speak for every Denver fan (only my own little obsession), but I was honored they asked and happy to talk with them about our favorite team!
If you haven't tuned-in to THE AUDIBLE over on footballguys.com, you need to check them out. Cecil Lammey and Sigmund Bloom have a great show, and if you're hunting for more NFL info during the off-season, these guys will keep you busy with several podcasts per day! The thing that impresses me the most about these guys is their support of fans and bloggers (not just the big media machine). They look for ways to involve even us lowly bloggers in their coverage of the NFL. And in an era where news often breaks first online, that seems like a smart move! You can check out my little guest appearance on the show HERE). For me -- I'm just excited to talk about the Broncos with anyone that will listen! |

Cecil Lammy always pops in to announce an upcoming show. I could see if TJ was trying to make a living off this site but he is not. He is doing it as a pure fan. He only has google ads to help pay the server bill and that doesn't cover it. So pimping other fellow sites seems like no big deal.

That's great man. It's nice to see the circle of bloggers we have getting some exposure time. Hopefully, I won't have too many conflicts with my ASA league so I can call in on MHR from time to time. Congratulations, be sure to post a link to a podcast or a replay or whenever it's on live!

This is great! Anytime "new media" gets love from old media it helps legitimize it a little bit more. Keep up the good work!

Excellent responses. Came across as knowledgable without "know it all" like many of the so called media experts.

I also have a terrible radio voice, but I was happy to do it because I think it's great that guys like Cecil and Bloom support regular old fans like us. We're not special or unique -- just die-hard sports fans. And it's awesome that they want to hear from us! I've listened to their show before I did the guest-thingy with them, but after working with them I have an even deeper respect for the guys behind the show -- their aces in my book! ![]() |
